Not so much an IB, I surmise, as dipping into the second attention.
Remember that fly that landed by Dan and verbally introduced itself by saying "hello, my name is Paul."
Castaneda said that was seeing.
Or hearing in regards to your strange metallic sound.

I'm all for figuring out a grading system!
But we need more people for that.
One unfortunate side effect would be, people will skip stuff.
I noticed that with Juann.
Carlos banned me from his books, so I never read about seeing energy on a horizon.
I had a clue. Carlos taught us about the wall at the end.
But he didn't come right out and say that it's the same as viewing energy on a horizon, and that you can do that like you were watching a video.
So I found my way through the puffs of color as if it were a forest, and I was hunting magic mushrooms. I was looking for prizes everywhere in it.
Then I noticed IOBs can form on the puffs, and that strengthened my idea that the colors are for "exploring".
It never occurred to me to use the purple as a surface. In my mind, "the wall" had to be perfectly flat, and even have the details of a real physical wall.
But Juann had heard about the horizon thing, so he skipped all the messing around and quickly learned to view energy on the puffs of color as a whole.
His "gaze" was misdirected by reading what I wrote.
So by grading stuff, we effect the outcomes. It's almost like telling a child, "That's a good thing." "That other one is a bad thing."
Where do you think the child will go next?
To the bad thing of course!
But I'm not saying grading is not good.
It might even be possible to come to a group consensus that all of sorcery is, "easy". Just follow specific steps along the grading path.
And then, it might be!
For future practitioners.
Or, we might cause people to skip some in between steps, and become something other than sorcerers.
Cleargreen up until recently was behaving like perfect "purists". That's one thing that brought me out.
I saw no hint of actual knowledge in anything they wrote, because I recognized the sources for all of it. They were just repeating Carlos.
In some ways that's a good thing. Let people discover the actual meaning on their own.
But it turned out to be a bad thing, because everyone is monumentally lazy.
We almost lost it all.
So I say, to hell with it. Let's grade it, and don't worry what kind of sorcerers we produce.
Let don Juan handle the snobbery department. He's done such a good job at that, people actually hate the very thing we need most.
IOBs.

"Let don Juan handle the snobbery department."...
this sounds like you are suggesting he is creeping around still. Did he jump dimensions?
I am really just looking for common verbiage.
Is an IOB the same thing as a demon? OR are the iob seen "blob" just the manifestation of them in this dimension where they are whole beings in their realm.
IOB literally means everything. Because only things with 3d bodies would be excluded. This is toooooo wide.
But I understand the KISS principal.

I've seen "don Juan" a few times.
It's no longer a surprise.
He's off in that realm you mentioned in the other comment.
Some sort of place I can look, but can't recall at all.
That makes it quite difficult to deal with.
Maybe it's one of those 8 point things, where that place doesn't connect to reason at all?
As for demons, I'd say those a religious misunderstanding of inorganic beings.
Inorganic beings are ripe for "book deals".
So they're demons, alien abductors, big foots, ghosts, tree spirits, and a host of stuff people like to tell stories about.
I don't know anything about astral planes, but they must behave like lucid dreaming.
There's no problem telling what an inorganic being looks like in dreaming.
In fact, I can promise anyone who gets hold of fairy, you can indeed have sex with her.
But she has to pull you into a dream to do it.
Don't expect it to be normal. It'll be really creepy.

In dreaming, they are indistinguishable from other dreaming characters, except that they remain much longer, and persistently try to annoy you.
When you're awake, they can't manage a smooth appearance like that, and you only get flashes of what they "look like".
But that pulls you further into waking dreaming, and if the assemblage point moves below the bottom, they can become perfectly real.
Because you're using your dreaming body to view them, despite being awake.
