Can anyone link me to a good method for creating chi balls?

I’m interested in learning how to make chi balls. I’ve done some Fire Kasina training as taught by Daniel Ingram and I’ve heard he also has a great method on creating chi balls. I just haven’t been able to find his method anywhere. I’m sure practitioners on this sub would be able to link me to an effective method.

Have you already felt energy in your hands?

[-]
u/kkbolito 1 points 2020-08-22 16:46

Slightly. I’ve tried the technique of rubbing hands together and slowly bringing them close together and I can feel a slight sensation. I can feel energy much easier near the ajna chakra. If I close my eyes and bring my finger close to my forehead I can feel a pressure in my forehead without touching it.

But to be honest, I’m just getting started with chi work so any methods you know to begin feeling energy in the hands would be appreciated.

I would say it is easier to see them than to feel them. Crazy.
And if you learn to focus on them, you could do amazing things, such as remote viewing. Ive learnt to see random detailed views on the chi-balls. Here we call them "puff of colors" or "darkness colors", because they are usually purple or blue. But they are energy. I drawed some of them in my posts. It is wonderful.
If you follow Dan's tips, I bet you will learn it.

Can you explain what the process of remote viewing using a chi ball is like? Like it’s a visual form of remote viewing? Can you remote view something specific or is it usually just random?

What are some other things one could utilize with the successful forming of a chi ball?

The truth is I have no experience with remote viewing. Once when I was a kid I made a pretty accurate prediction, but I didn't try again. I have nothing that I am interested in finding out.

But yes, once you learn to see energy, you can see real, detailed places in your dark room. I once saw a starry sky, but had no way of knowing where it was. I also saw an oriental style theater. Dan has more experience with that, ask him.

I guess that if you are good with the chi balls, you just have to focus your attention in what you want to know. Attention plays an important role there.

And regarding what other things: it is possible that a window will appear in your room, with a place where you can directly walk. I didn't get that far, I'm learning.

But from what I have experienced so far, the most incredible is the state of "enlightenment" or "heightened awareness." Yes, the chi balls will get you there. It is part of the process. I assure you that it is an absolutely impressive state where reality is perfect and problems do not exist. I was really surprised that such a state exists. And Dan lives there practically.

Ilt try to do my best to explain a technique I used to experiment with, you will be able to feel de energy, en your hands (literally a magnetic field), from there on, it will be your task to strengthen that field and to give shape to it. Although, why would you want to make a chi ball, to make a hadoken or a hame ha? Im not trying to make fun, its just that once I wanted to do the same and experimented for a long time, until I realized I was wasting (MY) time, there are other things I need to employ my focus in, instead of trying to do things with little to non practical use in MY life.

Any ways, here it goes:
1) put your hands palms facing each other as close together but without touching one another.

2) try to imagine you have a water balloon in between your hands, in that small space between your hands.

3) (this part is a bit hard to explain in English because its not my native language, so just ask if you need me to further explain) try to squash the water balloon between your hands, but never to the point of making your hands touch, feel how the water balloon resist and pushes to the contrary (repels your force). So you will go with that flow, pushing in and pulling out,

|< <•> >|< <•>
Do it slow, and the distance when you separate your hands after pushing towards the other hand, make it be really little, so you can start feeling the magnetic field that starts to form.
This is, you will feel when you push your hands together >|< you will feel a force rejecting your hands just like magnets of same pole, and when you pull your hands a part <•>, you will feel a force pulling you back like to magnets trying to be separated.

4) do this in a very very short distance, and then start little by little separating your hands more and more up to where you still feel the magnetic field. You will be amazed how far you can take it.

After wards you will be amazed to see you can use energy to heal ;)

Thanks this is really helpful! The main reason I want to learn how to make chi balls is for healing purposes, although I’ve also heard that you can use the chi to remote view if you are able to see it

Make yourself an absolutely dark room. No light at all.

Sit in silence. If you meditate, you can do that first, but when you get around to trying to form chi balls you need absolute internal silence.

No internal dialogue.

All forms of meditaiton merely do 1 thing:

They interrupt the internal dialogue.

But in a more pleasant way, because those are sold for profit.

You can't charge someone money to torture them!

Your meditation school will go out of business.

But, when doing it yourself, without help, you can't afford to waste decades piddling around.

Just shut the darned thing off!

It'll be excruciating, but the reward will be all the powers of the Buddha, in short time.

I recommend walking around with eyes open, so you don't get sleepy.

And DO NOT CLOSE YOUR EYES!!!!

You'll cheat yourself.

Silence allows the "assemblage point" to drift. Here's what that is, but generally it selects which portion of reality we are perceiving.

There's a lot more than we use on a daily basis. This is perhaps 0.1% of it.

The J curve diagram in the middle shows which position produces which results. An example of chi manipulation is shown in the bottom left. The woman with a ball in her hands, and a streak in the air. They leave streaks if you wave them around:

/media/iektgd/e5d6gzqi3i551.jpg

As the assemblage point moves further, because you are completely silent, and not thinking about this level of reality, you eventually see generalized energy on the walls of your bedroom.

But you'll need 2 minutes without a single word popping into your mind, then you'll need to sustain that for 2 hours, while removing any images in the mind. Those pictures that have no words, but cause the words.

2 hours of that, and you can see in the dark!

At that point, you'll be offered a view of another world.

And sometimes you get offered to go inside.

But I suspect that takes a spirit helper.

Don't worry about those. If you learn to manipulate chi balls, they'll locate you.

Very few people reach that level of consciousness, and they're sure to notice you enthusiastically.

Or you can borrow my very friendly, very safe spirit, "Fairy".

Not all are safe. I have a spirit I named, "Fancy", who is a kidnapper and energy thief.

Fairy volunteered to help people who are serious. Here's how to summon her:

/media/iektgd/fiulcpxhov751.jpg

She'll first show up as a woman's face. As you learn to see it more, it'll fly around, and you can scoop it into your hand, and teach it to walk around full sized.

Or tiny in your hand, my preference.

If you see her a few times, ask her to come home!

Cholita misses her.

She was screaming in the back yard last night.

Cholita, not Fairy.

Fairy doesn't seem to make sounds. At least, not for me.

Good luck!

Be sure to tell us the results. Whether you gave up or had wild success.

Actually, if you had wild success you'll be back on your own.

There's no where else to go!

Thanks for the help. So in order to be able to see the energy, one needs to have internal silence for about 2 hours? Do you mean that the energy isn’t visible until you’ve reached a state of samadhi? Or just mental silence with no thoughts. I’ve always thought that it would take years to reach a point in meditation where one could be in a state of no-thought for 2 hours straight. But maybe I’m over complicating it.

As for summoning the fairy, how long does it take using that technique for her to show up usually?

[-]
u/danl999 2 points 2020-08-24 16:18

Not quite.

But YES on the samadhi!!!

Except samadhi is usually experienced with the eyes closed, and as anyone who meditates knows, it is NOT a permanent state.

Or as anyone who had to serve an enlightened Zen master for a long time knows. Those guys go bad towards the end. The years of pretending can't undo old age.

Asian Meditators made that part up, about enlightenment being permanent.

Any yogi will tell you, you don't get out of work just because you reached cosmic consciousness. It'll go away if you don't keep meditating.

Westernized Buddhists tend to be more honest about that.

It's an issue, that's why I bring it up...

No, to see colors you only need 2 minutes of silence, and about 1 hour in the dark so your eyes get used to it.

You won't be able to keep those 2 minutes up.

At first, you won't even manage 30 seconds.

But eventually you'll reach the 2 minute mark, and the "assemblage point" will loosen. Then it can move.

And you'll feel it like a tingle, a shock, goosebumps, fear.

It determines what you perceive! So we're afraid to have it move. The boogeyman might come out.

(Another Fairy type.)

We need the 2 minutes to let it drift.

The colors select the direction it drifts, so you can avoid sideways shifts.

We need it to shift DOWN, on this J curve:

/media/iektgd/ebfi4gp2kcz41.jpg

Sideways is either super spiritual (see heaven), or horrible. Depends on whether it goes left or right. Ask women about that. Their period pushes it left and right.

Which is why all women can be witches. They already have assemblage point flexibility built in.

But we want it to go DOWN. Not horizontal.

The 2 hours is how long it takes, once you can see colors and bright them up, and move them around with your hands, to reach the end of that J curve.

That's "cosmic consciousness", or the Zen experience of emptiness.

And magic is over there!

Fairy won't show up until you get to the second line going down from the shoulders.

Although, if she takes an interest to you, she can show up the instant you get silent 2 minutes.

And don't do her movement until you see some colors. It's a waste of time, and might injure your neck if you become obsessed and think that doing it more than twice might help.

When she first shows up, she'll be poorly formed and vague, but you'll see a woman's face.

And I have to say.

Fairy's Locator spell is a bit of a trick.

Fairy is tricky. She's, "The little smoke" from Carlos' books. The ultimate trickster.

She promises to show up, but if you get to that second line you won't care!

You'll find your own spirit. They're plentiful when you get there.

If you are familiar with the Fire Kasina texts, Buddha's 4 dancing women in blue dresses were spirits, much the same as Fairy.

Fairy has posed full size for me often! She's amazing to see. As bright as the sun at times.

Or Milarepa's demons torturing people in hell. Those were also the same type of entity.

Inorganic beings. Beings without flesh.

All spirits. Demons. Angels. Abramelin's "helpers".

But I prefer a pretty little fairy, because they can be very frightening otherwise.

How long does it take?

Depends only on you getting silent.

Each thought you have, pulls the assemblage point back to this hellish world of self-pity.

The witches in our lineage call that final place at the end of the J curve, "the place of no pity".

That doesn't mean you have no pity for others.

It simply means, you stop feeling sorry for yourself, and so others can't manipulate you based on pity.

You can't bring magic into your life fully, without escaping the social order's dictims. And they'll try to stop you for sure.

The end of the J curve is enlightenment, without all the fancy book deals, monk robes, collection plates, and chanting.

Asians love a good show!

And to charge money to help people reach magic.

That's morally wrong if you ask me.

Here's the experience of someone else using this technique (the one I posted a few minutes ago, right here). This person doesn't post themselves, but when it's relevant to another post I have permission.

I greatly admire Daniel Ingram, so if you learn what he's able to do, be sure to come tell us.

He doesn't make pretty pictures like I do.

Here's that experience from last night. "Fancy" is the rougher of the spirits I mentioned.

I forgot to warn you, both Fairy and Fancy can push solid objects when they feel neglected.

Fancy doesn't care what happens.

Fairy seems gentle about it.

Yes, they're both "demons" to Daniel Ingram.

So what?

I'll put my comments inside ( ).

****

Hi Daniel!! (me, not Ingram).

Few things about my practice last night. First of all at one point I heard a loud sound of something crashing on the ground outside and in the morning I noticed it was an umbrella, but maybe it was the wind blowing it down bc you probably didn't send Fancy?

(dan: No, I didn't, but Fancy was gloating that she'd located some of you guys. And it was long after you practiced.)

Well, anyway.. At one point of practicing I was seeing lots of beautiful purple puffs and enjoying the sight I started just scooping them onto me like you said, which is a strange experience bc they dont really disappear where I take them and when I look at my body it is bright, but not for long.

(Normal at first)

I kept doing it and then, at one point just opened my hands and had my palms facing upwards, and wow !! It looked so so crazy, like the purple was floating in water-like fashion on my hands and there was vibrating yellow lines where my hands were. It was AMAZING like actual magic on my hands right there!!

I put it all on my body and kept scooping more for some time. Closer to the end of the practice, as I started feeling a bit sleepy this happened: I was looking at a view of a beautiful mountain, water and a bright sun. Kind of snapped out of it, and it was a bright purple puff of light. It felt like, if you know the feeling when you are having a dream of something very bright and then you wake up and there is a light/sun shining straight on your face. Crazy!!

(Try slapping your face, the instant you "wake up" from it. You can go back in after a minute or two.)

A hypnogogic image, or a dream interception maybe?!

(We don't know. Our teachers are gone. We have magic, but no explanations. How cool is that?)

In practicing tai chi, consider any energy one pulls from themselves to be a fragile, tender thing.

The opening moves are often called 'Strokes bird's tail' and such.

What I've come to understand, once you've centered yourself and are able to focus the solar plexus into emitting a few 'puffs', collect this energy in to a light ball, and allow it to form into a tiny bird.

Birds, though appearing substantial, weigh very little and have only minimal density. Our chi is much the same way, fragile and tender and easily blown around.

So in being relaxed, draw the right hand up, palm open from below to accept and hold, allowing to rest this bird, freshly produced from one's solar plexus.

With a relaxed and firm, shoulder width stance, gently take the left hand, palm open and softly push the bird, carried in your right palm out at a 45 degree away from the body.

One's right foot should also turn slightly and point towards the direction of push, stepping out about a foot-length.

Then once the bird is held at arm's length, gently release the bird and allow it to flutter in place for a moment, catching it in the left hand. Using the right, gently pull the bird back towards one solar plexus, adjusting one's stance back to center.

One can also perform this 'push-pull' out sideways, turning the leading foot.

The key is to allow the pushing and pulling to happen gently and firmly, to open and float for a moment at the peak, then to swap and pull gently back in. Then repeat.

A notion just now tells me this is an excellent dream-body exercise in watching one's hands as if they were someone else's.

Hope this helps!

Enjoy!
