Has Infinity claimed me?

To introduce myself: I'm more of a pragmatic sorcerer, I could care less about other worlds or meeting exotic beings, I simply just want to understand, not in full, but in my fullest capacity what CC claimed was unknowable or the abstract--not through mystical experiences---but scientifically and formally. I was rereading The Active Side of Infinity a few days ago and it made me realize the day I (think) Infinity began to claim me. I was in a Travel Lodge in San Francisco attending a conference and I was in the shitty shower in my room and I felt very strange. I felt absolutely untethered and indifferent and noticed a small purple and red spot in the center of my vision. It was like a vibrating and scrambling bifurcation that I don't recall noticing prior to that night. I remember CC talking about a purple spot with a red dot that opens when you reach a certain threshold as a sorcerer so to speak, so I didn't worry about it, but nonetheless it was annoying. After a few months, this visual disturbance only made occasional visits but a year ago in late August was when shit really hit the fan.

I started feeling random "waves" pass through me from time to time and the feeling was very dark and ominous. I interpreted these waves as what CC called "commands" but they only precipitated "feelings" until one week that August I felt I had entered the "speed force" (since then I've literally traveled on a bifrost faster than light to a space hard to describe). These commands suddenly became direct knowledge and it was flooding my mind, as if a dam had collapsed. That week I learned many things that ended up being true and would change the course of my life. Most of all I learned that there are no accidents or coincidences--randomness does not exist. That week the visual disturbance went away but now, to this day, when I close my eyes there is a linear purple wave or torus. I have full control over this torus and I'm not really sure what it is. Could it be an ally or an inorganic being? I'm not sure what the difference between the two are.

Another development this year is that I can use the second attention to do what most call "remote viewing", but I'm still skeptical about the whole thing. However, the images I pull out from the dark sea are very vivid and high resolution. At first I had no control of what I would see--it would be places I've never been--but I could stay in the same space and move around like in Google Maps street view style. Now, I can vaguely decide where I travel, mostly around my neighborhood. To be honest, I'm more interested in the random images because they are more interesting. My question is: can this ability be used to recapitulate? I always thought CC was being absurd in regard to recalling your entire life, it seemed impossible, but now I'm not sure--has anyone here accomplished this feat and care to share?

Lately, I've been wondering what to do with my life and decided that doing the rational rigamarole I had been doing for the past seven years had gotten me no where. So I decided to get weird with my life, I mean really take a drive in the wrong hand lane. There's no turning back so why fear the abandon and seemingly overt risks of not-doing full time, so to speak. If there are no unintentional accidents, then I have nothing to lose so long as I act with intent. This week I finished the command I was given back in August 2019 and can say it was only possible because I suspended my disbelief while working on the project, but I can't rationally explain how I did what I did to complete it. The price I paid for my trophy was large, but I'm going to use the knowledge to take the world to the next level, not because I have an agenda, but because I've grown tired living among phantom travelers ruled by archons, it's time to stop the world. I know of Dan's project, and to him I say "pacem nobis recordatur chao". If all goes well, I'll effing bankroll his project with my own. However, the last lesson I learned as a software developer and reading CC, is that if you do your job right, no one will ever know.

> Could it be an ally or an inorganic being?

If you play with it a lot, it will become one.

As for right now, not enough information to say.

They do like to hook us to self-sustaining images, if they can get away with it.

My new IOB, Fancy, likes to do that.

She seems to live in an ice cave, instead of a dirt one.

So far I've only seen her and Bob there. No others.

> However, the images I pull out from the dark sea are very vivid and high resolution.

If you had any doubt, that is indeed the second attention.

And "remote viewing" suffers from the same problem you find at the 4th gate.

You have to dream yourself into the real room you're sleeping in, and there are infinite numbers of copies of it.

So "remote viewing" is perfectly valid.

But I suspect that most of the time, the copy you are viewing is not the "real" one.

> can this ability be used to recapitulate?

To remote view the scenes?

Of course! That's the goal.

And it's automatic. You don't have to learn it, it comes by itself, when the recap manages to clear your connection to intent.

But can you start with remote viewing, and replace the recap itself?

Probably. But you won't have the energy or the time to do that.

I used to joke, when looking for a new computer customer, that I could build them anything they asked for.

Even a space shuttle.

But, I wouldn't live long enough to finish some things.

That's the situation in sorcery.

But if you're going to pursue it full time, why not be a little more pragmatic about it, and get some specific practices you can repeat, modify, see the result, and then pick another direction you figure out, from the results of the last?

That's the best way to drill deep into it and find the oil.

Cholita doesn't use that approach. She can do a lot more than I can, but not consciously.

Either that or she's punking me.

The last time I was going on about using the IOBs to move an object, she got annoyed and simply did it for me.

Probably so I'd shut up.

Thanks dan for answering those questions. I’m so lazy but I’m getting better at practicing more often, the results pay off the next day I’ve found. I really need to finish the CC books I never ended up buying, his earlier books are very unclear about IOBs I suppose because he himself wasn’t ready to play with them. It wasn’t until this past year that I really gave credence to IOBs until I got pulled out of a dream by some IOBs that kept saying “come and see” in this bridge of blinding light and was met by an Iranian sorcerer who either saved me from shitting my pants or was the one who pulled me out to begin with, either way he had my full attention.

Actually the earlier books were nearly ALL iob.

"The Little smoke" was just that particular ally. Didn't really have anything at all to do with the mushrooms.

"Devil's weed" was the other ally of don Juan, not a plant.

Carlos brought both of them to private classes to show us.

I have no idea what Mescalito was, but I suspect anything that weird would be the Devil's weed ally again. Seeing as how little smoke got the majority of the teaching gigs.

Death over his shoulder was Little smoke. She does that all the time.

Even when I'm writing here. If she likes the energy she feels when I write something, she zips by to give me confirmation it was a good thing to say.

I even get tingles when she zips by! My skin crawls.

This whole thing about IOBs being bad is in fact in the books. Carlos banned me, so I forgot all the details, and then people got those quotes out.

And I have to admit, the books do give that impression.

It's actually kind of odd if you think about it. The training of Carlos, outside "heightened awareness" was pretty much all IOB.

But people don't think clearly about the earlier books.

Then in the later books, don Juan warns that the IOBs scared even him, and like to kidnap people.

And that's all people focus on, because in fact they have no actual sorcery abilities, and thinking is all they can do to soothe themselves.

They don't notice that don Juan said, they can't touch you, if you learn to move your energy body.

And you have to learn to move your energy body anyway!

So to me, it's like the fliers.

The cure for the fliers is internal silence.

Once you have internal silence, they don't like your taste.

And yet, we have young people come here to private chat, completely upset because they believe the fliers are making them masturbate, or whatever fear they have.

Don't worry about IOBs luring you.

You should be so lucky!

Just learn to gaze at colors in darkness until you do something "impossible", which means, your dreaming double is helping you out.

At that point, I believe you can fight back against any possible kidnappings.

Fancy, my new IOB, is a kidnapper. I suppose because it's so empty in her realm.

But so far to no avail. She can move my dreaming double, but it's so thoroughly connected to my tonal, she can't keep it.

What is your ultimate goal or "desire" (intent) regarding your IOB? Just wondering if you are preparing to take them with you somewhere, turn INTO one of them, Live in their realm eventually, etc...

I want to learn how to use them to teach.

Same way don Juan used them!

Isn't it sort of obvious, if you forget about the bad rumors in the Castaneda community, saying they're evil?

They're for teaching!

Originally my idea was that since they can tap you on the shoulder and move your assemblage point, it should be possible to hurl them at people. At the shoulder blade.

Like a substitute Nagual's blow.

Fairy (probably little smoke) was very helpful! She let me turn her into a perfect pumpkin, and toss her at the wall.

Not in dreaming. Not pretending with closed eyes.

With eyes fully open. She was an absolutely real glowing orange pumpkin in my hand.

When she hits the wall, she explodes! It produces a dazzling light show.

I was practically drooling, thinking of how you could use that to help people activate the second attention.

What I didn't realize at the time was, she was merely teaching me how to move the assemblage point all the way to heightened awareness, by gazing at colors.

She was just amusing me, not planning to obey that absurdity.

I was trying to learn something my own way, and she was also helping me learn that.

But, not the way I had thought.

So now we have a technique to move our assemblage points all the way to where it would be, if we had a Nagual to move it for us.

Little Smoke taught me how to help you guys!

I suspect, once Carlos released his allies to us, they took over.

Little smoke has been helping me since 2 weeks after Carlos introduced us.

Kept me serous all those 20 years before I reached heightened awareness on my own.

Now, she's even taught me how to do what I really wanted. Bring her around and let others have access.

My idea was to make her into a pretty little fairy, so she wouldn't frighten anyone.

And I succeeded. That pic you see of her standing in my hand is no exaggeration.

But, when Cholita showed up, I realized it was a lot more complicated than simply visiting people, and expecting them to see her.

So, Fairy fixed that. She created "Fairy's Pass" for sharing her.

Bottom line, anytime I think of a way to help the community, an inorganic being seems to come through for me.

Otherwise, I have no intentions towards them, except that they're really fun!

Fancy, my new one, is a bad girl.

But Fairy seems to have protected me from her, by teaching my dreaming body to come visit while I'm awake, in darkness.

Think about it! As you scoop colors in darkness, cooler and cooler stuff happens.

Just look at the posts of others who are using that technique.

I started using Zuleica's technique, but Fairy hijacked it, to make it produce heightened awareness first.

We ought to call it, "Fairy's Technique", because the missing component part comes from her.

When the amazing stuff happens while gazing at colors in darkness, it's only possible because your dreaming body helped out.

When non-directional becomes directional, your dreaming body has come closer.

When you can finally leap through the wall, you've learned to switch between the two.

The result seems to be, Fancy can't kidnap me.

Last night she brought me to her world again.

It's an ice cave. I have no idea what kind of ice.

Maybe it's a gas giant for all I know!

I saw her world materialize around me, without any permission from me.

She just brought me there.

But instead of getting confused, or sucked in, as she probably had in mind, I started examining the details on the walls very carefully, to try to figure out what kind of ice it is.

She brought my dreaming body there, and my Tonal came along anyway.

When I focused the attention of my Tonal on that cave, it faded away and Fancy also started to dematerialize.

She put her head on my lap, then vanished.

As far as ultimate goals goes, I try to avoid thinking that way.

I don't have one I'd share here, even if I knew what it was.

I just owe Carlos, that's all.

Juan and Lidotska, if they keep it up, with feel the same debt to me.

Hopefully they go help others to pay it back.

About Fancy:

Her world is barren. Just her and Bob, as far as I can see.

Fairy's pink world is overflowing with entities.

Fancy's white/bluish world is an empty cavern of ice.

Hopefully I'll be able to show that to some of you, because it sounds too absurd until you see it with your own eyes.

JD found an inspirational quote, which also verified the color of Fairy's world.

Pink.

When I see it, it's more like pink, with glowing red spots on the walls.

Sorcery is vast and its practitioners varied. There are more than enough paths and projects for everyone.

[-]
u/canedatum 1 points 2020-08-28 04:50

To each his own, true. I usually don’t intervene with others’ paths. The dilemma I face at the moment is my own, for now.

To say there are no unintentional accidents or randomness is an interesting statement. Take for example the time I accidently cut my finger opening a can. What would have caused that? I certainly wasn't intending to cut my finger.

[-]
u/Valtzu_92 2 points 2020-08-28 03:39

Well it was you who cut your finger, even if you say it was a accident or not. the reason does not have to be random, most accidents happen when you are not paying attention to what you are doing. Or maybe your can-cutting skills where not perfect yet, and now you learned a valuable lesson while cutting your finger, so you wont do that again! :D just my thoughts tho

[-]
u/Blackstream 1 points 2020-08-28 03:52

Well sure, from that point of view there is no randomness or chance because the universe is deterministic (lets ignore quantum mechanics for now).

But to say there are no unintentional accidents implies there's direct intent behind every result. So on some level, some being willed that I cut my finger opening the can.

If reality is consensual, it's easy to imagine that on some level I willed it to happen to teach myself a lesson in paying attention, or my roommate willed it to happen on some level to convey to me that such small trivial accidents weren't worth getting upset over (I yelled out FUCK). On some level meaning some kind of overall intent that led to that event, or a higher self that directly willed it for some overall purpose.

I'm mostly just curious if this is the kind of thing OP was trying to say, or if OP had something different in mind with that statement. Like maybe OP just meant reality is deterministic and intent is the only way to break out of that.

How many cans have you opened in your life?

I'm confused as to the relevance of this question. If there are no unintentional accidents, it shouldn't matter if I've opened 1 can or 1 billion cans as long as I never intend to cut myself. But the answer is I have no idea.

I've recapitulated my entire life...not sure of this is the feat you mean? I would def use the visuals to recapitulate. Start with sex partners, btw.

In keeping with being a pragmatic sorcerer, which is my bent, I think of what Don Juan did with his ally and his powers and the inorganic beings. He was a shaman and he healed and he taught. As a medicine man, Don Juan collected plants for healing and other things. He also 'talked' to the little smoke to learn how to live his life. Don Juan also made his bid for power.

u/canedatum 1 points 2020-08-28 04:53

I’ll start with my shitty childhood.

[-]
u/wifigunslinger 1 points 2020-08-28 05:57

Interesting bit regarding sex partners, you must be female.
As a male I suggest starting with something less emotional like your first car or where you went to school (like the literal building, or the chair you sat in).
Those situational alignments for men will connect the most dots.

[-]
u/dissysissy 1 points 2020-08-28 15:47

If you read the books, it is where Don Juan suggests Carlos start his recapitulation because that is where we lose most of out sexual energy, through sexual intercourse. This energy is used for dreaming. It is the same for both men and women alike.

I’m not sure you can scientifically explain sorcery in terms of individual effects but you probably can map out the directions in a scientific way.

I always tell people that the works of CC are a road map to a larger world laid out so anyone can follow. Is that scientific, idk?

As far as astral travelling or remote seeing goes the visualization techniques can easily be used in recapitulation!!

You must however be careful not to reinforce the solidity of the first attention with the energy of the second attention while targeting alignment.

In other words don’t create a double reality or you’re gonna be stuck recapitulating your recapitulation.

[-]
u/canedatum 1 points 2020-08-28 17:57

If you opened say 1000 cans and only cut yourself once then that’s statistically significant. Haste always makes waste and that’s why CC always said to control your folly. When I’m on ambien for example I make all kinds of stupid mistakes like shifting into 3 gear when I intended to shift to 5th gear. But not all accidents that we perceive as unintentional are misfortunes. As for randomness, it’s just a mathematical abstraction like the natural number system is—nothing in reality is measured to be exactly 5 inches for example.

u/Zazzy-z 1 points 2020-08-28 18:20

There’s a lot of downsides to being female, but good lord, usually overthinking is not one. I’ll waste my energy in a funner way.
