The Spanish language community seems a little more helpful than the Eastern Bloc.
I'm sure there's still a lot of self-promotion, but it doesn't seem to be a desire to create a new "system" they can sell to replace Castaneda.
Maybe it's because they had direct attention from Carlos and picked up more of his intent?
While the eastern bloc picked up the intent of profit making from cleargreen?
Not that this ruins them. It just makes them troublesome until they give that up and decide to actually learn sorcery.
Let's talk about intent for a second.
If someone charges you for workshops, and for materials, and for certification as a teacher, what exactly do you think you've picked up there?
Keep in mind, Carlos gave his time freely in the Americas. Many were exposed to free instruction.
The profit making was seen as necessary to support cleargreen. Not as a goal.
But the eastern bloc never saw that.
If a petty tyrant has to be overcome in order to deal safely with infinity, why wouldn't surrounding yourself with profit making alter your intent?
Even an argument with your partner can spoil a night's practice in the darkroom.
It's the "wear and tear of daily living" we're fighting.

I've never heard of real sorcerers around here. There must be some, but they are few and they are hidden.

I was researching Peru, and found some important mountain range which made it confusing to figure out who was who.
There are stories of shamans, specifically in the north of my country, near the border with Bolivia. But many of them are the classic fake shamans, who charge to take care of you while you eat power plants.
But I'm sure something real has to be out there. Maybe soon I will find out.

A pretty simple plan.
i am studying under a shaman named don juan (accidentally) here in Peru.
doesn't charge any money, and he is pretty badass for being 80 (stronger then me in my mid 30s)
he retells stories of his teacher who used to go to the world of water for days, and come up dry. he was supposed to go study there for 25 years before they killed his maestro.
I just landed to this subreddit, and I am slowly devouring the wiki and old posts. once i get more accustomed and when i have some time of practice of techiques from the subreddit, I'll join more actively.
when I come home ill make a darkroom, now i doing exercise of constantly going back to silence as one of your posts.
Some of the inorganic being worlds seem to have water.
Little Smoke and Devil's Weed tried to save Carlos before he died of cancer, pulling him into their world. Apparently there was water all over the tunnel he was in, with stones he could hop on, to stay dry.
But a couple of us were shown what ought to be the same Tunnel by Carol Tiggs, and so far I haven't seen water there.
Only when it's seen in sleeping dreaming have I found water there.
Maybe your teacher's teacher had a watery kind of inorganic being world he could visit?
There are at least 5 million different types of inorganic beings on earth alone, and some likely living on every planet in the universe.
My spirit "Fancy" lives in a frozen methane cave.
Even if I forget that fact, and it's been months since I visited, I see it materialize around me if I play with her a lot. The room starts to turn very light blue.
haven't enquired too much about the perception of the underworld. however, my teacher did capture one being from the water world when he was young, together with his 'classmates' that studied under the old 'banco' the teachers teacher.
he said that it didn't have toes like we do, but her foot was somewhat different. i didn't get the precise description. also, they kept her in place with 'icaros' songs they learn from other iobs in their dreams, both waking and night.
once the icaro would wane off, she would start to scream. they held her in place for 3 days with no sleep until they had to release her.
one time there was a siren, that wanted to take my teacher to the water world. he couldn't leave his wife behind. she saw her as well.
he said that when you go study in water world, you get back without aging. this was some sort of secret how to get more knowledge. cause studying the old way takes a lot of time, something our generation is rarely ready to do.
studying takes time with hard restrictions on food ( no salt, sugar, fruits, and many more) and no sex.
my teacher studied for 5.5 years like that, 1.5 years alone in isolation in the jungle.
he was supposed to go for 25 years to underworld, but when they killed his master he had no more guide.
there are also cool stories from his one year diet of traveling awake to other worlds. i can share if you like.
i also know of shamans who studied for 15 years, one is dead and one i will visit in 2 weeks, try to get some stories from him.
they certainly knew stuff, and had their technology of how to achieve it. I find that olmecs knew much more, however with different intent. the olmec knowledge is also extremely precisely describing everything on amazon shamans. it sheds light on why things work while amazon shamans knew how, they were though by iobs.

funny enough how ancient way of studying involved no psychedelic plants during the duration of 'la dieta'.
they basically took plants that they learned to be master plants. by master plants, i guess the iobs that lived in the realm of that plants had meaningful power for them.
'la dieta' works like this
with restrictions of no salt, no sugar, no oil, no sex and isolations
you would go and drink the plant that while in blue zone has no visible effect. most of those plants are still used as just teas or remedies.
but in la dieta, your AP slowly shifts guided by the plant to a certain position. it takes usually at least a month to get used to new position, and 3+ to explore it more and make stable. very long diets allow you to remain there for longer time.
the plant is sometimes taken once a month, and sometimes every day. sometimes just once at the beginning.
during the diet, IOBs come and visit you. they test you viciously but once you pass, you acquire their friendship. you also save the 'path' to that AP position with a song.
later in ceremonies they would sing those songs to bring AP of persons that are attending to the same spot. there the IOBs would do the task asked.
skilled shamans are masters of inner silence. they can shift their points in daylight, and have very precise visions and information about most intimate workings of a person, as well as far sight. they knew which plant moves your AP if you want to see your distant relative, or if you want to make some fall in love with you.
they can also gift their AP positions,but it is not as easy as give go.
my teacher said he will give me his IOB but that he won't probably come until I diet more as my body is still not ready. during diets, something like recapitulation happens, but precise recapitulation for that certain AP position. once i dieted love plant, and i had recurring dreams of all my exes and ones i haven't been with and once i didn't even notice, but energy exchange happened.
once my teacher told me about a plant that takes you to lizard world. and that is used mostly by brujos, a term for bad shamans.
when i was in brazil, I took a bark of huge 60 m tree with to my home to europe. couple of months later I went to 10 days silence meditation retreat. i found the blabbing and worshipping of teacher a complete nonsense, but I was happy for the place and discipline of.20 days 10 hours a day meditation and silence. drank the plant before.
around 4th day and for 3 days later i hade vivid visions of dragons while lying awake. the diet was short to go any further.
later when i get home, i translated the Brazilian name of the plant, and it was the same plant my teacher was telling me about.
i also observed many people drinking the same plant over the course of 2 months while working in a retreat center. all of them had AP shifted more or less the same with similar dreams occurrences and dream flavour.

there are shamans that take no psychedelic plants at all. they either diet with a certain plant and work only from that AP point or they work only with one plant family where all species have similar AP points, or even just with tree barks.
some of them work just with tobacco for example
once they complete the diet, they have no use for the plant as they locked the AP position.
And it's clear from what you described, that they couldn't do what they told you, as often as you would need to, to understand it.
Same as Buddhism or Judaism.
They weren't skilled enough to spend the many hours and many days exploring magical topics, in order to uncover "what's behind it".
We ended up with Christianity due to errors in understanding by the Jewish Prophets.
i agree. they were more concerned with practicality as per their tribal intent.

We're "mechanics".
We take everything apart to see as far into what's behind it, as possible.
As far as I know, there are only a few "general categories" of spirits, and magic.
But the spirits try to form a unique relationship with new people, and will even create a false persona just for a specific seer.
And most seers struggle to see. They don't have good instructions on how to do that.
Ours are 10,000 years old and likely were perfected for thousands of years before that, back when there was no way to make money out of making up stuff like how to do magic.
So they're really "pure".
A good example of sloppy seeing is whoever wrote "The book of Job".
There's no Lucifer.
Kind of a big mistake on their part.
"She" was just an inorganic being having some fun with an overly serious Enochian prophet.

even in new testaments it is written that jews knew jesus was working with IOBs to expel them from other beings. jews had the knowledge of finding out the true name of IOB and expeling it by calling that name. must be connected with intent. jesus was first they saw who healed deaf person.
he commented that house cannot stand if split in half.
i am not taking any texts like that as anything serious, but more I see it that they didn't remove that part cause they didn't know the significance.
my old teacher of healing was pretty badass, he healed heavy stuff and he witness some heavily physics breaking stuff during his life and treatments. and he always remained alone, free of any influence or fame. working in two small cities mostly, known by almost nobody. he passed away from cancer when he stoped working during pandemic.
when he told me that he has bunch of IOBs that work for him, i was first shocked coming from catholic background. took me some time to go with it and accept the flow. he said that two times two iobs gave him the power to boil water and to levitate objects, but he declined as he was not interested in that stuff.
he said the way he subdues them is by pretending he is almost a gooner in a fight, then when they relax he takes them by surprise.
once i had my AP in the position he was mostly during the day after extensive work with him. never experienced such long silences, but not complete as you say or world would disolve.
had huge energy available to him.
he is the only one who though me to move my AP predictably, but I am nowhere at the level of you guys.
i can predictably bring waking visions and encounters with other being, and some sort of x-ray seeing of human body. More often the visions are monochrome but sometimes they are full hd movies. this was my goal to stabilize prior to encountering this sub. cannot hold it for long cause my inventory mind cuts it. description in this wiki about inventory was the best help I got so far in my journey to understand more. I knew it was chatter, but so hard to root out. still working on perfecting healing specific vision as sometimes my imagination meshes up what is seeing. but to 100% confirm visions with radiology or some medical evidence is what I intent to do. no bullshit.
Darn. Cholita can move objects, but I didn't know you could make water boil.
I've seen them make it "burp" in a water cooler.
And when don Juan was making hot water in a tea pot, they made a noise for Carlos.
So, hot must be on their list of ok stuff to play with?
And they can also make droplets go sideways in the shower.
Or even giant Gumball sized water droplets hanging from the faucet, before you see a dark grey thing fly by, and the drop falls.
But boil it? I might actually ask "Fancy" about that.
I don't like to interrupt the "Intent" you get going with them, but that one is too good to pass up.

the ones who acquired ap positions still have different intent, that is heavily tied to their beliefs and many modern seekers are heavily drinking this thus creating a new religion.

This is an interesting blog post I found where this blogger claims (passionately) that CC was Brazilian and actually the nephew of the famous UN diplomat Oswaldo Aranha.
I asked him about sorcery on facebook, he replied in portuguese: "Steer away from these things, they are dangerous!" and never talked to me again.

About the numerous book deals.
There are even "mini-book deals".
For instance, any young Indian man on a reservation who fancies himself a sorcerer (without any reason).
They were cashing in back in the 60s, due to Carlos. They'd first complain about Carlos appropriating and altering their true shamanism, while offering classes for stoned white people.
Then there's the opportunists.
Around 40 years ago a medicinal herb seller at the La Mirada swap meet figured out that since he was mexican and selling herbs, a bunch of men would wander by, hoping they'd found their own don Juan.
He played it up!
He's slap them on the left shoulder, in a friendly manner, like he was merely a touchy feely sort of guy.
But he knew what they were thinking.
Then he'd invite them to his home.
Turns out, he was a Jehovah's witness. Trying to save lost souls.
Very interesting! There I watched a video in wich she tells of an experience getting silent. From what she said, it sounded like heightened awareness. But it was like a "gift from the Intent." It seems that she did not progress further. Sounds better than Cleargreen. Her accent is from Spain.

One is Carol talking about not-doings. They are an interruption in "your self"
They say that magical passes interrupt the flow of internal dialogue. It is important, even for just a few seconds, because it has a very profound effect.
Then they speak about freedom, increased awareness.
Carol said Don Juan always emphasized the sublime side of man.
I guess that's what Carlos was hoping for also, that the Tensegrity would interrupt the internal dialogue enough for people to make progress.
But instead, they picked up a secondary social order to obey.
I'm sure Carlos would have fixed that, but he didn't live long enough to realize it was happening.
Of course not-doings interrupt "your self"! It's a shame she even has to explain that.
Our self is running out of control all day long. Carlos called it, "Glossing", meaning "automatic mode".
Ever driven home from a hard day at work on what should be a moderately long drive, only to find you are already at the off-ramp and just about to miss it?
Automatic mode.
The opposite can be felt with Cholita in the car, driving at night.
The landscape turns funny colors, and the sky is streaked with black and purple bands of light.
You have to be silent of course, but a witch can add the energy you need, even if they aren't consciously aware of it.
One time I was driving with Cholita and impossible thing after impossible thing kept passing the car.
I turned to Cholita to say, "Did you see that?????!!!"
She was already looking at me, with her tongue sticking out.
If Don Juan emphasized the sublime side of man, does that mean a slight shift to the left, instead of to the right?
Given a position of the assemblage point above the bottom of the J curve, left is sublime, right is physical.
Maybe because of the slices of cheese to the left and right?
A nice Mozarella on the left, and some Limburger to the right?
And apparently as someone posted, when the assemblage point comes back up the front, on the end of the J curve, you can in fact slip into the dark slice of cheese.
I'll leave that to Juann. He can afford to age a little.
You have a lot of experience there, in the "Dark Side of the J curve" (kidding; i refer to heightened awareness).
For me everything there is completly sublime.

Here's a recent offer I got from Fancy, after I managed to get her to stop laying on my left arm. She thought she could panic me by not going away.
If you let her be a ring on your finger, she'll help you pull aside a cloaklike curtain, to reveal continuous dreams you can watch. But you need the "magic ring" or you can't find the curtain.
I suppose it's like a Twilight Zone episode, and you get to be Rod Serling lurking in the bushes.

I invited her to come here.
The "silent moments" effect is well known in yoga.
Do the yoga, lay on your back on the mat to rest, get high as a kite from the resulting bliss.
But it hasn't done the yoga folks any good. If you went to a yoga studio and showed them my pictures of magical effects, they'd call the police.
I'd love to see someone figure out a complete path using Tensegrity alone!
There has to be one.
But as you've learned, you really have to pursue what you perceive.
If you don't know what to look for, you'll ignore it.
Here's an example. I have too much to do, but I've been curious why you couldn't do daylight gazing on asphalt.
It's a black surface! A virtual horizon.
So can't you do exactly the same thing?
But I'm not certain what to "look for".
I tried walking with "eye junk" visible. I just gaze at the asphalt until I see eyelashes. Maybe some squinting is needed, but it's not like you're looking "through" them. They seem capable of leaving shadows or reflections on the eyeball, and you can pick those up.
Once you have those in view (as very faint variations in the light levels, or "grey" lines if you like, with a brighter echo), you can find dust.
Your focus is correct for finding dust on the lens of the eye.
Taisha called them, "worms". Yes, the eye dust is mostly tiny plant fibers, most are curved, and "worm" is an apt description.
But misleading! Come on Taisha! It's eye junk.
Not magical worms. Your "worm" description did not work on the women gazers.
Get all that eye junk together in your vision while looking down and walking in absolutely perfect silence.
Within view you'll see puffs of smoke, swirls of whiteness, darting black dots, and a bunch of other "stuff that can't possibly be there".
Keep that up while walking, and you'll start to feel the air thicken.
I'm halted at that point. My knees give way and I fall.
Silence in dark room, no problem. I have such amazing balance there that I can lean way, way over to grab some energy.
In fact, I bend and lean so many odd directions that my neck bones crack one after the other. I'll be reaching backwards to my far left, and I hear, crack... crack... crack... crack... and finally my hand reaches the patch of energy I wanted.
And I don't fall over!
Makes me understand why don Juan was cracking his back for Carlos. It's a natural result of trying to redeploy energy and not wanting to move your legs, while you reach too far.
But outdoors, when I get that silent I lose balance.
I got lucky one time, and a blue puff of smoke appeared over the eye junk, and Fairy smiled for me.
But that was many months ago.
Wow, I didn't expect that. Lose balance? But isn't it that you walk in heightened awareness by life, without internal dialogue?
When I am silent as I walk, I can see a shine on the asphalt. But I don't usually get very deep in it. It's harder for me to concentrate on the street.
But try sitting, looking at a wall, in your garden. That should work better.
Heightened awareness is not maximum silence.
Maximum silence and the world stops.
And my silence during the day is good enough to remove the obvious side effects of the internal dialogue.
But nowhere near enough to stop the world.
When you're trying daylight gazing, you give it full force.
It's not as if we have a little dial we can turn, just short of stopping the world.
So anything can happen.
I tried it just now. Same thing. Air gets thick, balance starts to go away.
Very interesting! I really wasn't thinking much about what's next. So stopping the world is very intense. How does it feel?
The world stops, and you find yourself watching the emanations at large. Like a gigantic fire, consuming the universe. But made out of lines of yellow light.
Some places are thinner. When you notice the space between the emanations, you get "offered" a bundle.
Or maybe it's more like, when you notice the space, and realize you could walk through there without touching any, you get offered.
We need more people who can do it so we know!
Each bundle is a world you can enter, and return from, back to the emanations.
But if you linger in any world longer than a second or two, you'll end up back where you started if you return.
The view that comes from stopping the world is very sensitive, so the shock of entering another world and realizing it's real, ends that depth of silence.
As long as you don't actually have the idea, "Hey, this place is real", you can bounce back and forth.
But I don't recommend that. It's probably dangerous.
You'd have to do it, to understand why I say that.
It's almost like you're torn apart to be in between worlds looking at the emanations.
And then if you enter a bundle, you're put back together.
You probably don't want to go back and forth, watching exactly how to tear yourself apart. Not a good thing to learn about.
In fact, Fancy likes to scare me with something new like that. She'll find something that might cause panic and see how much she can scare me.
That one would be a doozy!!!
Usually however, I suspect people "bounce off" stopping the world, and go directly to an alternative, without seeing the fibers.
Also, don't get confused about heightened awareness.
It's not the ultimate. Just a good place to be, for learning.
Takes away discomfort, gives lots of confidence, and puts Mr. DoubleTake to bed.
But it's still a view of this world.
Otherwise it would not be very useful for teaching apprentices.
From heightened awareness, the assemblage point can easily move around.
But it's still "sticky". So it'll stay in a normal view, if for example, you go to work or school in full on heightened awareness.
You'll look a little intoxicated to everyone, but not out of the normal range for hangovers.
To get crazy stuff to happen, you'd still have to engage your awareness on a new position of the assemblage point for a while.
So going walking in daylight can do that, but only if you're trying for a sustained time.
In darkness, it would move much faster because of the lack of distractions.
A topic I wanted to discuss and posted some quotes on your J curve post as a comment. Shouldn't the next enormous milestone, after the heightened awareness and stopping the world be assembling the next Great Band, the next world of emanations at large? Carlos describes this experience with all the physicality.
It is described by assemblage point moving even deeper into the man's band than a higher awareness and reaching some crucial threshold. Before that usually other lateral positions bounce back and forth (yellow dunes, wall of fog, human matrix), and then.. the next reality the way books describe it. It was Carloses last lesson and the milestone before don Juan has left, the way it is described in the books.
But at the present, only you and Cholita seem to be experienced enough to test this on practice. So my idea to bring this up is related to making a more complete "map" of the AP movement along the J curve, but it needs a practical test as for now it is only information from the books. And without practicality it would be just an inventory.
I agree, but that doesn't help my own personal cause.
I'm only trying to restore the reputation of Carlos, with visible magic.
And possible violations of causality. Teleporting, levitation, object retrieval from other realms, finding hidden objects under the ground, data transfer between people without a physical cause, and so on.
Objective things, which are simple facts you can observe.
A personal journey into another realm doesn't help my cause.
I'm after simple visible magic I can recommend to others, so they can see it also, and tell their friends.
When I get a group large enough, all saying the same thing, namely that Castaneda's sorcery produces visible magic, people won't be able to doubt it anymore.
The book deal tyrants will be overrun!
Figuratively, I'm trying to bring about Noah's flood in the world of Castaneda sorcery.
Wipe it clean and start over.
My own personal exploration doesn't help.
It'll just look like another book deal story.

I know this guy a bit (not personally, but his writings). He is mostly about lucid dreaming and writing about chakras, souls, different realms of inorganics, angels, djinn, etc.

You see a being (a scout) and interpret what you like. Naturally since he's never actually seen don Juan, all he can do is trust what seems to be going on.

Yes he did, he said Don Juan in dreaming told him that Carlos left for the world of Djynns and dark death defiers. To my question how can he be sure that its Don Juan and not other beings he said IOB can't lie and when you are in dreaming and can SEE you will define who is who. I unfrended him in facebook because i've felt he makes up stuff at least some of it. Some of what he writes sounds very truthful and reasonable but some of it is really odd, easpecially regarding Carlos, i really doubt that he was so stupid to change total freedom for the world of death defiers... I don;t think Carlos was so primitive..

Don Juan mentions a few times that you have to die.
Even the old sorcerers couldn't get out of that.
You have to have a container. When you lose the container, your awareness disperses.
We die because the rolling force keeps opening our gap. But who cares if something we can't see it open?
Because our awareness will leak out.
At conception, the male puts the energy of a new being into the mother. We don't know how it manages to grow in strength, because it obviously has to.
But, it's in there when the baby isn't even 2 cells. When it's not even known which sperm will create a baby from which egg.
So it's not hiding out in the container of the new baby.
It can hide there until the baby forms, because the mother is a container.
That's also how double beings are formed. The awareness of a still born is still inside the mother, hiding.
A new baby comes along, and it goes inside that, the same way the energy of the new baby goes in there, and you have a double being.
But we can also burn from withing by reaching the 3rd attention. All of our awareness leaks out, but it's all fully aware.
And we go hide in the earth's cocoon. I supposed it's a little like we were in the mother's womb.
We get to hang out there until the earth dies, or for a shorter time.
Carlos wasn't clear on that, probably because no one knows. How could they? Ask a previous sorcerer who's in there?
Those only go back 10,000 years.
Carlos was ready to burn. And he had no where else to go.
It's die, or find shelter.
You can't take your awareness, without any container, and hide anywhere.

Being kidnapped by the inorganics can extend your life.
But still, there's no realm there. Chances are it's more like a zoo.
What you can do, is burn with the fire from within, so that your awareness is released all at once, and all of it aware of all it can be aware of.
That lets you sneak into the earth's shell, for refuge.

Look at how children are formed.
When the male deposits the energy of awareness (and the sperm), there's no baby yet. Not even a single cell has been fertilized. It can be days before there's even 2 cells you could call a baby.
The awareness can remain there, inside the mothers cocoon.
If the baby dies in the womb, it's energy can even remain there. I suppose its "baby gap" opens up, the awareness spills out, but it's safe in the mom.
Another baby comes along and it can go in there, creating a double being.
But again, all this points to the fact that, living creatures need a cocoon, to define the limits of their awareness, versus the awareness that is not them.
It's what makes us who we are.
If there's a dark sorcerers realm, does that mean they discovered how to live without the shell?
Wouldn't you think don Juan would have mentioned it in the books? He mentioned everything else.

If this is the case, yes, in my case it is just a continuation of the topic being discussed. A very advanced topic which is tens of years ahead if possible at all. If we will have more people we will know whether this whole physicality is applicable to real life sorcery or not.
