Can't beat the internet for weird stuff becoming common knowledge!
Don't need lineages anymore! You have 1000 people come through here, and maybe you only get a few who learn.
But they do it on their own power. And we know from don Juan's own words that makes a difference.
One of the people practicing darkroom gazing was experiencing the somewhat common nausea, and worried it was the rolling force opening their gap.
I think more likely the stomach muscles are affected by the change in state of consciousness, plus the anxiety of wanting something to happen, coupled with the horribleness of forcing off the internal dialogue.
But even so, according to don Juan, if someone else moves your assemblage point for you, you can be vulnerable to problems once you perceive the rolling force.
