How to Intercept Dreams, for Instagram
I made this for Instagram.
But in fact, I resumed intercepting dreams last night. Fancy's very complicated tensegrity pass combination has some scheduled, "play time". And intercepting dreams is a specialty you can lose, if you don't use it once in a while.
I'm more interested in sharing a dream with Cholita, to find out what she thought of that "new" Taisha Book. But she was nowhere to be found. Except for earlier in the night when she staged a scene, so I could catch a short glimpse of her and see that she's doing fine.
Since I haven't been doing dream intercepting for a while, I got a chance to "feel it".
It is in fact a very specific sensation, to allow a dream to bloom all by itself.
You have to let go. Give up. Forget to control everything.
You catch a flaw in the room, in the purple fog. Or on a puff of color, but puffy color is a little tricky because the dream can merge with the puff, and become isolated.
You want the dream to materialize at normal human height, above the floor. That's so you can "walk in", but also because our own intent knows more about that arrangement.
For example, you can materialize the dream into a soap bubble, floating in front of you.
But it's such a cold and alien place. A dream that forms on the floor, at normal height, is much more "cozy".
Our sustained action foe recently tried to take this subreddit down. One idea he had was to re-obsess it with Lucid dreaming.
Lucid dreaming is what prevented people from sharing dreams reliably. That nonsense has been going on over there, in lucid dreaming discussion groups, for 30 years. And they still haven't figured it out.
That's easy to explain! YOU'RE BOTH ASLEEP YOU IDIOT!
It's like having 2 stoned and drunken people stumble around a park in the dark, looking for something, but no one told them what to look for. So in the morning they make it up.
If at least one person is awake, you know you have a little sobriety going on. And to add sobriety to the one asleep, you only have to grab them.
If you grab Cholita however, be prepared for the chase of your life.
Last time I tried that, I had to destroy a small village in Mexico to find her.

So are you saying you can’t enter someone else’s dream while you’re lucid dreaming?
You certainly can. And it happens all the time!
In fact, I suspect people share dreams every night, all over the world.
But if one of the people is a lucid dreamer, and the other is a normal dreamer, the normal dreamer won't remember anything. Certainly not longer than a day or two. And for a short time, only after being told what happened.
Doing lucid dreaming you never learn about intent.
So you never learn that your dream can intercept with their dream, just 10%.
You can share a dream with someone who thinks they're at the Zoo, while you believe it was in the living room.
You're asleep for heaven's sake!
And some huge ego men would say, "Well, we can both do lucid dreaming, so we'll both be lucid."
Liar... You have a little ego driven qabal going with someone. You've probably bullied him into lying to you.
Just on the basis of being so phony, it's not going to work. Intent certainly won't help you out when you're making up things and harming the community.
I can't fathom why Carlos wrote that monstrosity of a book, except maybe to hook the egos of the men.
He was in fact interested in "hooking people". He told us that was his purpose.
But, he learned by don Juan hooking him with some "man of knowledge" story, showing him the ways of the old sorcerers.
The real action was elsewhere. He was pushed into heightened awareness, for the real learning.
Just like this subreddit will push you there, if you allow it.
We should realize, Carlos didn't have any experience teaching people the way we're having to learn.
It's taken all this time for any of us at all to figure out how to proceed on our own.
Let's be honest. Jack shit happened the last 30 years. Nothing. No one.
If it did, where is it? Where's the students of someone who actually learned to do real magic?
All these "book deals", and no actual learning.
Even Carlos, Carol, and the witches may be a little clueless about how to teach people from scratch, without a Nagual to push them into heightened awareness.
Or I should say, they are clearly clueless.
Because the method is simple. You try to interest a bunch of people in a new approach, insist you have to actually work hard, then see who does and forget the rest.
Carlos and the witches were unwilling to both insist, and forget.
Mass. Find the talented. Ignore the lazy.
But lazy becomes frustrated, then determined, then hard working, and finally "talented".
If there are others who succeeded.
So you get even the ones you had to give up on by that method.
With mass. That's the path. Carlos knew that, but he didn't figure out how to build sustainable mass, before it was too late.
What do you mean by in lucid dreaming you never learn about intent? Doesn’t intention play a big role in lucid dreaming?
And why can’t 2 lucid dreamers share a dream together?
Can you enter another dream using pure intent?
Is distance a factor? I am guessing you would notice people around you and those you are connect to while seeing these dreams? More so than say some dude down the block.
Suppose I am asking.... How to you zero in on a particular person?
That is the book that made me stop liking castaneda and doubting everything he said.
Please elaborate "destroying a small city in Mexico"?
Good questions!
Yes.
Yes.
How to zero in on a particular person eludes me.
I don't believe even Emilito did that! He just waited for Josefina to show up, the same way I just wait for Cholita.
And Josefina seemed to attract La Gorda to show up next.
I'm lucky to have Cholita, who zeros in on me.
Otherwise I just get random dreams filling the room. If you enter one, it has the feel of someone else's doings.
In fact, you feel sorry for them.
I once tried to drop a demon into someone's dream, hoping I'd hear someone scream in a nearby house. I was that desperate for "proof".
But the demon fell to pieces when it got inside the dream.
It's not like entering a world you assemble on the wall, where you tend to have a cyclic being you inhabit (and thus memories).
Or you find a world to explore as long as you like, which seems as real and solid as this one.
Entering a dream of someone else is entirely different than all the rest.
Here's the deal: People can't do what we're doing in here.
They just can't.
Go look around. If they could, one of the many in here who look all over the internet for cool stuff, would have mentioned it.
You'll find some Dzogchen people doing fun magic, but nowhere near this level. They charge money, so they have a very limited pool of talent to draw from.
Unlike here! It's free! Everyone is welcome. Talented or otherwise.
The talented ones can prove to the not-so talented, that it's worth working extra hard.
You will find stories out there about famous yogis and their "visions".
But still not a community of many people, doing what's considered the supernatural.
So for me, true or not true doesn't matter.
Who the hell can do this?
Saints. The old jewish Prophets. The Buddha?
That's the only ones. Famous religious figures.
Entire religions are created when people learn to do what we're learning, and all just from following Carlos' advice.
His dying advice I might add. I hope someday you can all "re-run" private classes. Concentrate on when he brought that poster to class.
His entire emphasis changed from that point. He was dying.
Destroy a small village (wasn't big enough for a city)?
It's posted in here. But no cool picture. I'll have to make one for Instagram this weekend.
From memory (which is likely to mix up a detail):
I was gazing at the darkness, and Cholita showed up.
She was standing near a table, playing with objects there. I was still not used to having her do that.
I'd discussed it with her while driving to Whole Foods. She was friendlier back then.
She asked, "So what are you wearing when you are gazing at me in the darkness?"
(heavy Spanish accent kind of a turn on...)
I asked, "What????"
"Are you naked? What is your hand doing?", she replied.
All I could say was, "Cholita!!! Why are you so obsessed with sex?"
She responded, "Me???? You think I'm the one obsessed with sex?????!!!"
And she then forbid me to touch her dreaming double.
But I told her, it's not my fault if you come into my bedroom.
And that night I wanted to see her closer, to find out if the clothes her dreaming double was wearing were one's I'd bought her.
Cholita has endless clothes, and no hope of me recognizing anything unless I was with her when it was purchased.
That would be "proof" of sorts. If I could find a detail on the clothes, then see if it was true. Like the label.
Cholita saw me from the corner of her eye.
She was pushing objects around on a table that materialized in front of her, looking down.
But I saw her frown. She sensed me.
She started to walk away, right through the bedroom wall.
I chased her a bit, but since i wasn't allowed to grab her the way Emilito did, she got away.
She was so fast! Zipped right down a path in an area with plants growing on the sides.
I realized I'd walked through the bedroom wall, panicked, and ran back into the room.
Idiot!!!!!!
What a waste.
I got greedy, so I sat up on the bed, to follow her with remote viewing.
Once you can intercept dreams, and especially if you run into a witch like that, you just "know" when you can do something.
I was gazing down on my bedspread, and it started displaying places Cholita had gone off to.
I was surprised to see she was jumping around from place to place.
But she never stayed anywhere long enough for me to leap into the scene, to enter her dream.
Finally I saw her in a Mexican village, walking down what looked like a dirt or stone road. She was almost to the right side of the bedspread, where I'd lose view of her.
I got angry and smashed my fists on the bed, to knock her out of the dream.
A piece of Mexico fell, and I picked it up with my hands.
It was pretty hefty!
I looked inside.
Cholita had escaped.
I believe a voice commented on how I was mishandling that piece of Mexico, but it's been a while since that occurred. Could have been a different night.
Now I ask you.
Does it really matter if it was true?
I mean, I got to hold a piece of Mexico in my hands, fully awake.
And does it matter if it was really Cholita?
I happen to know it was, from other things.
But if it wasn't, how cool is it to be able to do things like that?
I remember the TM movement getting all excited in the 80s, because Maharishi had a "vision".
A vision????
How many of those do we get between ourselves in here, every day?
I know you can zero in. I have done it, but while asleep and have no idea how I actually did it...intent maybe.
The monk in the bright yellow robe followed me back from where I was dreaming with him and showed up in my dorm room. To reinforce what I agreed to do, then broke. When I fought him off... he was forcing me to fall asleep in the middle of a 800 person lecture. I was scared of waking up in the hospital. He would not wait for me to walk back to the dorm to sleep. Too all my willpower to not fall asleep. But that broke the agreement in his view. First lost teacher, human one anyhow.
Cyclic being you inhabit.... interesting way to explain it.
Don't get me started on demons (for lack of a better word, jinn maybe). The real ones. Their 4 realms (as they term it) are incredibly hedonistic. Surprised you have never been there.
How can you "mishandle" that part of Mexico?
Are you saying that what you were doing would have a physical impact on the village?
I think it matters if it is true or not. Not from a teaching perspective, but from a psychological perspective.
Yeah, visions are common around here.

It's been a long time, but I believe the voice was trying to help me stabilize the state I was in. Had something to do with setting the "object" down in the right manner, to keep it still existing.
People mention the dreaming emissary, and I usually say it doesn't talk to me.
However, it does in waking dreaming. So I suppose I was wrong about that.
There's really not much difference between the two, as far as the IOBs are concerned.
I am new to this reddit and i am just starting to orient my self through the posts...
I love the idea that shared dreaming is easier whem at least one is awake.
Where do i find some instructions from you to dreaming while being awake?
Have you read arnold mindells 24 h lucid dreaming? If yes, how does his concept corelates with the wakening dreaming of the toltecs?
Look on the right, when you first get here and can see the daily posts. There's a wiki. Try the "illustrated" section if you want a quick start. Lots of pictures.
Arnold? I used to believe, if Arnold wasn't in a movie, it wasn't worth watching.
But lately I avoid reading anything outside this tradition, because this sort of magic requires the cleanest link to the Olmec sorcerers who created it.
You find, when you learn shared dreaming, that our view of reality is built. It doesn't in fact have an absolute existence.
It only seems that way because there's billions of people in this one.
In shared dreaming, you now have 2 people in the same "fantasy". Which makes it start to become a real world. At least, just a little bit.
That same principle is the only way we can learn this sorcery. We absolutely must keep our link to past sorcerers, or nothing is going to happen.
For that reason, I avoid things like you suggested.
It's Olmec, not Toltec. Just trying to protect you from the fraud web pages, which always splatter "Toltec" all over the place, to sound bad ass.
If you go to a web page and see "Toltec", you've been had.
