You can gaze at someone's center of will and change their energetic alignment, moving their assemblage point.

Yes but practically how is this done?

Made me think about a book I have 'Initiation' by Elisabeth Haich. Somewhere she talks about thought transference and perceiving will. Don't know if it is what is meant by mesmeric powers, but it is interesting. I found the passage online:

I imagined that for successful thought transference my husband would think about something and his thought would, in some way or other, appear in my mind. I was thus expecting a thought that would not be coming from me. (At that time I had never realized that we do not actually know the source of the thoughts we believe to be our own!) To my great amazement something quite different happened, something for which I was truly not prepared. As I stood there with my husband and waited to receive a thought from him, I felt very distinctly—and even 'saw'—that a stream of force about three to four 75 inches thick flowed out of his solar plexus area, surrounding my body like a lasso, also at about the height of the solar plexus.

I felt this flow of force as distinctly as if it had been material—very fine, like a dense mist but nevertheless material. After this flow of force surrounded me, it pulled me unmistakably in a definite direction so that I had to take a step. Then it pulled me on and on. Whenever I took a step in the wrong direction, it very distinctly pulled me back into the right direction. In this way we reached the window where the materialized will of my husband left me standing. Then came a new surprise. My left arm which was hanging down at my side as usual, suddenly rose in the air, becoming weightless! Until then I had never realized that my arms hung downward because of the gravitational attraction of the earth. One hears about gravitation in school, but I had never before been conscious of the fact that my own arm hung downward because of this force. There in front of the window, however, I was able to experience for myself the fact that my arm lost its weight and rose up in the air when the earth's gravitational pull ceased. As my arm moved upward, it also raised the curtain. I had not moved a single muscle, so it seemed. It was as if a mass flowing out from my husband's solar plexus was supporting my arm. Then this mass pushed my head forward until my nose touched the window pane. At this moment, the mass left my body—my arm and my head—and I was able to move again freely.

We looked at each other and were both very excited. I was thrilled by the new experience, the fact that the human will flows out of the solar plexus, literally reaching another person, embracing him like an octopus, and even cancelling out the effect of gravity. This 'material' seemed as if it consisted of myriads of little droplets of mist, somewhat like the milky way appears in the sky at night. It was as if these droplets of mist were all closely related to each other and all flowing in one direction.

I never finished the book, now I'm thinking maybe I should..

Yes that’s quite fascinating!

He moved her assemblage point with his eyes. The usage of the eyes in transmitting intent is a old sorcery trick and long before sorcery was labeled and written about in the works of CC some sorcerers were legendary in their mesmerizing ways.
I believe the term mesmerizing was used in this context to add traditional descriptive lore to the narrative.
Carlos was a great writer.

[-]
u/erryrruwufa 1 points 2020-10-22 11:18

Ah yes he is a very good writer. Do you know specifically how he “used” his eyes to move her assemblage point?

[-]
u/wifigunslinger 1 points 2020-10-22 11:58

Eyes are the windows to the soul or in sorcery terms they beacon intent.
They beacon intent because the eyes exist outside of the first attention and are closer connected to the second attention.

Dude I understand the praxis behind this. I mean if I asked u to teach this to me step by step, could you?

[-]
u/dissysissy 1 points 2020-10-22 12:36

Carlos talks a lot about using the eyes, for example, to collect energy from the sun. You can try looking at someone's center of will (just above the belly button) and either move your head slightly back and forth or gaze from your peripheral vision and try to "grab on to" the luminous fibers of light emanating from that center.

Not that I have done this myself, but this is what I would try.

[-]
u/erryrruwufa 1 points 2020-10-22 12:57

Ah this is much more helpful, thx a lot. Now when u find the light how would you command them to fall unconscious?

[-]
u/dissysissy 1 points 2020-10-22 13:06

You would use your intent.

[-]
u/erryrruwufa 1 points 2020-10-22 13:29

Now do u know any practioners who can actually do this

I've done it with Cholita, although I had no intention of "mesmerizing" her. I just noticed the glow of her assemblage point, gazed at a bright cobweb coming from there, and then ran my finger on it all the way up to the assemblage point.

Not touching her "body" at any point. I was only moving it along energy she gave off.

She switched to her second attention energy body the instant my hand got to the top, the way people can do by gazing down and to the right.

It was so startling, I worried I was going to die of a heart attack. Back then, Cholita was overflowing with dark energy.

After that, she wouldn't let me stand in that position. And she was right, I couldn't figure out how to do it from another angle. She has some kind of way to block people facing her straight on. But there's an opening there on her left, and slightly back. And the assemblage point is right there.

Carlos used to linger there in private classes, next to a person. He'd walk over as if he were checking out their tensegrity moves, but his gaze would be on their back and shoulder, more than their hands or legs.

Bottom line: I think you have to be able to perceive their energy body to do this.

So that you get feedback as you do it.

Maybe it's like reaching into a large dark hole to find a penny. It's much easier if you see it?

I also believe it's automatic. Do dark room gazing, and you'll pick this up eventually.

[-]
u/erryrruwufa 1 points 2020-10-22 16:20

Dark room gazing? I see.. could you have knocked her unconscious if u wanted to?

[-]
u/danl999 2 points 2020-10-22 16:34

Nope.

But it wouldn't occur to me to do something like that.

Cholita can move small objects by gazing at them. Not randomly. Deliberately. Repeatedly.

It's the main reason she won't eat out with me anymore. I made a big stink out of it. She saw that it got me excited, so she's keeping me from it.

But I've gazed at objects and had them move a bunch of times, although at the time I didn't think it had anything to do with me. It was more like, an IOB saw what I was looking at, and used the opportunity to get my attention.

So I suppose your gaze could do anything. You can burn a hole in reality and walk right in, when the gaze gets powerful.

Although at first you'll be happy just to burn a hole and have an object come out of it.

If you wanted to victimize people, I'd concentrate on inorganic beings.

They can not only teach you how to do that (or anything humans are capable of learning), but they can do it for you so you don't need to learn.

They like it better that way. So you need them.

The old sorcerers used them for that purpose.

They seem to have had 3 each! The old seers.

Maybe so they could get more power to push on solid objects. And hold people down perhaps.

One alone is pretty weak.

I had Fancy showing off with the water cooler this morning. She didn't just make it burp. She made it sound like someone was filling a full glass of water. It was so convincing, I turned around to see who had arrived at work early. But no one was there. It was just bubbling away.

I would have assumed it was just a coincidence if Fancy hadn't run by, fully visible, just seconds before.

I jokingly criticized her, that might be why she did that.

I asked if that was the best she could do. She was mostly just shadow.

Interestingly, she nearly recreated the circumstances Carlos used in private classes, to introduce us to Little Smoke and Devil's weed.

That's a benefit I get from giving accounts in here. In the process of describing what happened, I realize there's a pattern to it.

So everyone watch for that. It seems to be a "thing".

They try to get our attention as whatever we can perceive. Probably just a swooping shadow, but it could also be a "shadow being" running in your path.

If you comment on it, out loud, then they go move some object.

Water is easiest for them to manipulate.

I suppose the mirror in the water in the river is more proof of that. But Carlos also mentioned their affinity for water more than once in private classes.

This is a remarkable reply. Thx a lot for this. Are you on discord? I’d love to chat more

[-]
u/danl999 4 points 2020-10-22 17:50

Only for super computers.

But I'm not much into chatting. If I take the time to write something, I'd rather others could read it.

When people want to chat too much, it means they'll probably never learn.

They're hooked to people, not magic.

Also, I get to channel intent on occasion, and it's a waste to do that for one person.

Carlos did that in private classes.

I didn't understand at the time, except for how he'd stare off into a virtual horizon, located either south or south east.

He was rearranging information he already had, using intent to do it.

It's probably why this place exists at this point.

Do you know about the wiki on the side? Plenty to read, and lots of fun pictures to motivate you.

You could become as powerful as Silvio Manuel by using the instructions there.

Can't get anything like that anywhere else that I know of.

Daniel Ingram would be the closest, but he requires paying for a class.

And you get burdened with Buddhist dogma.

[-]
u/erryrruwufa 1 points 2020-10-22 20:08

How powerful is Daniel

[-]
u/danl999 3 points 2020-10-22 20:52

I have extensive writings in the wiki. Go read around.

There's no money being earned here, so you may be confused about interactions. The idea in this subreddit is to find who will work hard on their own, without being dependent on others, or being a "groupy". Periodically we come under attack from groupies and dependent people, who focus on controlling others, instead of practicing.

So I can seem a little rude, but that's only because you might expect to be treated the way a workshop hustler might behave, since you are worth cash to them.

I don't have to put up with anything, since I only lose to mess around with those who won't actually ever learn.

Obsessing over a question like yours is a very bad sign to me.

Groupie?

[-]
u/erryrruwufa 1 points 2020-10-22 21:03

Yeah not sure what that term really means or connotes. Achieving provenance in sorcery rarely comes from selfless intent - at least not in the beginning. You’ve been helpful though.

[-]
u/danl999 3 points 2020-10-22 21:07

Angry man then.

We get lots of those also.

Always "good guys", until their head explodes because they can't get everyone to pretend their understanding of sorcery is real.

We see a new head explode every few weeks.

It's what's killed the entire Castaneda population. Angry men pretending to have sorcery knowledge, and then going around to compete with others over it, instead of getting themselves a place to practice, so they become helpful members of the community.

I personally believe it's mental illness causing this sort of behavior.

But everyone always hopes for the best, until the person starts cursing everyone.

Go be powerful somewhere else please?

Haha dude sorry if this took the wrong turn. I think my question just gave off the wrong impression. Thx a lot for ur help 🙏

[-]
u/wifigunslinger 0 points 2020-10-22 17:01

Yeah sure...

Step one pick up a book by Carlos Castaneda and start reading...

Step two once you have read them, read them again...2 or three more times.

Step four... practice the techniques in the books especially....
-silencing the internal dialogue, -recapitulation and stalking oneself through the application of the four basic principles.

-step 5... apply the knowledge through controlled folly, dark room practices, gazing, dancing, exercises, video games, building houses...

After a little while you will begin to see that as energy flows your eyes will follow and if you have acquired the speed ( personal power ) you will begin to see how the eyes direct the action.

You will understand that all interactions are a physical manifestation of the energy behind the eyes, intended and directed by all parties of the interaction.

However strive to be the one who sees the interaction as a manifestation of directed energy, that is the goal of stalking.

Dreaming should just be the state from which the stalking commences.
