You should try to move in any way u want to, or do tensegrity passes. Learn to be actually silent, it is essential even for women. Seeing u spend so much time practicing with no results, I have to doubt your silence level is enough. It is difficult and takes a lot of work, but dont worry ! Once the ap moves it is worth it

The Tensegrity - Wiki section has numerous videos demonstrating tensegrity movements. Utilize them.

Dan has repeatedly referenced the Unbending Intent Video in particular for it's scooping and reaching movements.

And last night I was trying to find more ways to get lights to show up in the darkness, and realized Tensegrity itself is the best method.

Tricky Carlos!

But, if you can't find them, you can't find them. So even if Tensegrity is the best method to "get them going" at the start of a session, especially when you just began to practice and they aren't bright enough, it doesn't seem to remove the need for many days of staring into the abyss, to "find them" in the first place.

Which discourages some.

Note: You CANNOT teach sorcery to individuals. I can't emphasize that enough. Carlos could not do it, so we can't. Don Juan doesn't count. He had 15 people helping him, and could trick people into learning by moving them to heightened awareness.

But in a large group you have a chance to teach a few. Some work harder, and also get lucky. That's the best you can hope for.

To those who can't find colors I'd say, in that case you're perfecting your silence. So there's absolutely no loss.

You really want to go around the rest of your life, fussing in your head like that?

It's not natural! You weren't born like that. Remember the monster in the closet? Remember controlling your dreams?

You had magic. You gave it up, to keep yourself worried all the time.

So even if it turns out you never get sorcery, you will at least get silence.

Less stress, better health, senility put off a little longer.

But it can't happen that way, that you get silent and no magic.

Still it's good to resign yourself to doom, and keep working anyway.

That's "unbending intent".

And in fact, when you get no reward, but work hard anyway, wealthy Uncle Intent notices, and he owes you for it.

I kind of wonder what's gone wrong with the Russians? How come no magic over there?

Greed is it?

I mean, I was once in a resort with Russians, far north of Ivanovo, where you dive into a 0 degree water swimming pool after sitting in a God awful sauna booth next to naked men, staring at rocks, frying yourself with steam, while beating on your back with branches.

On one side was a former military officer, now in on the take as a private citizen, hated by everyone we passed in the street because he could move to the front of any line, especially at the police department.

And on the other was a Turkish mafia leader. Motion picture industry I'm told.

They were causally discussing who had put out the hit on the resort owner.

So after discussing murder, steaming themselves like a Chinese bun, and beating themselves on the back, they jumped into ice cold water.

And yet, Russian's can't seem to shut off that angry voice in their head.

Wait...

I get it now.

And yet, Russian's can't seem to shut off that angry voice in their head.

Many Russians are very fond of political discussions and controversies and often lose their sense of proportion in this.

There's a lot of that going on here lately.

But all of it amounts to using up any energy you gain, trying to get the attention people crave, because they have nothing else in their life but other people.

A horrible situation, designed to further agriculture.

What they really need is a 4 inch tall Fairy standing on their hand.

But instead they meet up in chat groups, and complain about Taisha's latest book not being what they wanted.

I'll repeat it: It's impossible to teach individuals.

You potential teachers out there, don't forget that.

You'll probably ignore it a few times, before you realize the truth of it.

Typically the "mistakes" you make, wanting to teach someone in particular, result in them cursing you for your efforts.

Look at what happened to Carlos.

One of his biggest cursers even came here, to try to curse me. Carlos being dead wasn't enough for him.

He wanted everyone to know what a horrible man Carlos was. Forever.

THAT'S the fliers mind.

No actual fliers needed.

>A s Dan says, the woman doesn't need silence to have effects,

I'd better clarify that. Women don't need perfect silence, because their assemblage point is very flexible, from their period. And also, maybe "womb" energy. The men didn't get into that workshop so I don't understand that topic.

With a flexible assemblage point, they only need the faintest whiff of the second attention, to move rapidly all the way to the end of the J curve. Lidotska nearly did that her first tries.

BUT, they can't be thinking about the "real world".

An internal dialogue is one thing, but sitting there thinking, "How am I going to get the car fixed??? That bastard won't even help me..."

(At which point, Cholita put a razor blade into my car tire, so I couldn't drive either.)

Or, "What did he mean, I look a little 'chubby'??!!"

You can't be thinking things like that, for obvious reasons.

Doing that is like visualizing a scene in recapitulation. It tugs your assemblage point there.

And you start to come up with ideas to "fix" the situation. You get lost. Won't find colors that way.

But maybe we can get some help from the inorganic beings, to find colors. This is a "silence free method".

Don't blame me if it doesn't work. I'm too far past finding colors, to know if this will help.

Fancy taught me some possible remedies.

But I have endless pages of cell phone notes. Here they are, but I'll try to draw it up.

After i decided that was enough new techniques, she appeared around 6 feet away from me (behind the wall), and rushed towards me, passing by on the right. Like a car in the opposite lane.

She kept doing that over and over. I couldn't figure out what she wanted to show me. There was a trail of trash following her.

Fancy is sort of fun...

Notes:

Golden rain is high. Then look straight for center sparkle. Lean head back for first. If works, try no lean next.
Look down to low left with eyeballs and then look right and still way down in 4 equal moves. Move eyes suddenly, not smooth. Stop and look each step but only long enough to see effect. See yellow hoops. Only eyeballs move.
Look high to far left an stretch arms to see little galaxy.
Keep head straight and break view into 9 or 16 squares. Look at each from left bottom across to right and then up one row on right and back across left, etc. look for any differences. Purple haze with mild texture.
Roll eyes around to extreme without moving head and look for yellow hoops.
Roll head around like classic neck stretch. Look for all lights. Hoops of course but try to see behind that.
Slap upper cheekbone on each side with pause to look at light that comes. Make it hurt a bit.
Turn far right and look down to back. Lean back too. Need a little stretch. Look for greenish gray down there.
Do dropping assemblage point to see any lights. Then try any others with stretch!
Do wheel of time arm stretch with Howard lean back if needed. See slight brighter in middle half circle of view. Look for grey ripples too subtle to normally notice.
Lean over and as far down as can like touch toes. Let arms dangle or move as helps. Look for thick line texture in dull grey with green and blue tint.
Wave and dangle arm back and forth and far down or lean back high. Look for dark waves with yellow or purple ripples.
Blue dot stretch at 45 with arms and turn head to use extreme right of eye. Right arm up, left extended down.
Design warmup combo of tests and others to stimulate colors.
Lightly touch skin all over face, head, back of neck. Look for slight shapes and lines or rectangles.
Scan entire 360 cocoon inside without turning body but only lean and bend back or tilt head mostly up. Will not be able to see all but try.
Blow hard but silent forward and wait for echo in 4 seconds (during 4).
Feel bliss of those stretches and look for smooth flat vague light.
Put arms in air like you just don’t care. Wave left and right up high and watch between hands.

Fishing for dreams. Look up high for water, lure to floor by tilting to side, on arm high, one low, and let water flow down the arm. . Bend over straight and stir water with wavy hands. Find disturbance in water on floor. Glitter at first, but will turn into a fish in the long run.

Maybe if we move our assemblage point fast enough in the opposite direction it normally resides (or just change directions?) and keep the momentum our "trash" can't catch up to us? Trash being our self-reflective thoughts.

I'm picturing Road Runner trailing a dust cloud after outsmarting Wile E. Coyote.

Good point. On road runner that is. You never know where an image you see an inorganic being display, really came from.

Fancy now freely flies into dreams, to entertain me.

It's quite a fun development!

I believe that last mini-series is over. I missed the end. I reround it to see, but I couldn't find the play button.

My cable box works like that too, for rented films.

If you let them go to the end, you are pretty much out of luck.

I'll have to work on getting her to take me in the dream alongside her.

Maybe I can pretend I need to see it up close?

That hot tub scene was interesting.

And unfortunately, there was a love scene in there somewhere.

I hit fast forward.

Don't want to see Bob's butt.

First,

this is necessary

this is necessary

.

Then, on cognitive speed from Cleargreen's One-day Workshop - Breaking the Speed Barrier. December 5, 2009. 10:00 am to noon - 2:00 pm to 6 pm. New York, New York. $100.

" For the seers of don Juan’s lineage, there is the cognition of modern man, and there is the cognition of the shamans of ancient Mexico. Don Juan considered these two to be entire worlds of everyday life which were intrinsically different from one another.

- Carlos Castaneda

According to the seers of ancient Mexico, the speed with which we do, think, react and interact, acts as a measure of cognition.

In many instances, the faster we go, the briefer the intake from our environment, the more mono-dimensional and tunneled become our thoughts, and the more fragmented becomes our cognition, leaving us in the end with energy that looks like fine, scattered particles of dust.

At another extreme, our habitual speed limits us in another way – we respond to our environment far too slowly; we ‘miss the boat,’ or hold things up; our energy becomes inert and stagnant, and we approach the events of our lives with a trepidation and tentativeness that impedes a decision of which direction to go.

According to seers, if we can learn to move with awareness – issues with ‘fast’ and ‘slow’ slip away, and we enter into the cognition of the seers of ancient Mexico as it applies to now, energetically experiencing a cohesion of being, which the students of don Juan refer to as Tensegrity.

In this one-day workshop, participants will practice Tensegrity – magical passes, or movements and breaths, that move us through differing speeds and rhythms, and self-inquiry exercises that help us identify who in our past gave us the ‘green light’ to speed up, or the ‘red light’ to slow down – all as an aid to breaking the current speeds, whatever they are, that bind our cognition."

this is from a folder of odd-and-ends I saved out as being possible applicable someday...
