We're in the same boat as all other traditions/systems, because we all have the same hardware with the same requirements.

Minus the ill intent. From what I can tell the people here want people to succeed. They don't want to become the messiah as so many others paddle for. I feel like there's an advantage to that. Selfless propagation.

If you ever feel traces of that messiah complex, it's from being so defensive after taking attacks from others while trying to advocate for Castaneda's work.
There's a bunch of naysayers out there, as is always the case with truly challenging counter-cultural methodology.

Thanks for that.

Yessir there really is. I've lightly tried to illustrate to people how much we really keep ourselves ingrained in a mindset and been met nothing but attacks.

It's another guy. And what he's saying isn't going to work at all.
Because they never learn to get silent. They have a watered down technique which cannot work.
I wish it were Shinzen! He sees fairies in IOB insects.
But I hate to waste an opportunity. Let's see if I get stoned for pointing out the flaw in what he's saying.
The realwitchcraft people deleted my comment today. I suppose I have to stay out of there.

Oops! The link was mislabled in the subreddit I found it in. This is the one it was supposed to point to, and focuses on unbending intent.
The Quickest Way To Enlightenment - Shinzen Young
But substitute forcing silence with the stones (for instance) for whatever meditation technique he mentions in that first video and it is still applicable. Silence practice is the foundation, wherever and whenever you are.
Starts with a few minutes, then hours, and eventually 24/7 like the guy in the first video alludes to. Externalizing practice.

So we have help. Daniel Ingram, and Shinzen Young.
The name is still a bit obvious, Shinzen.
Shin is one of the very first Kanji you learn in Japanese.
