Hello all,
Just introducing myself. I was here over a year ago, left to do my own thing for a while, and now I'm back to just poke around and enjoy some socialization. I'm not really a new practitioner. Been at this stuff for about 13 years now, but the new practitioners flair was the most appropriate given the need for an introduction. Hope everyone is doing well.

How are you efforts at silence progressing? Recap?
They are going well. I've had too many experiences to recount. As an example, I was sitting in silence the other day and felt energy pooling in my navel chakra. It has taken me years to develop this sensitivity. There is certainly a correlation between one's thoughts and one's energy state. I'm currently at the point of trying to sustain deeper and more prolonged states of inner silence. I've noticed that the cumulation of energy leads to gradual genetic changes that make the work easier.
Genetic changes? You mean physical changes in your body?
Yep. I don't understand it yet. What I can say is that sustained inner silence allows the body to get more energy. I know in certain Eastern esoteric schools, they call overthinking, "The brain eating the body," so the opposite of that happens when we have inner silence. I've noticed that being internally quiet and calm allows the body to get more of its own juice, which in turn kinda changes how the body functions. Really hard to explain. Definitely lots more to explore.
I need that energy so bad. I'm completely drained.
I find that things like chi gong and yoga can really help with energy levels. I always stretch and get my energy circulating before doing inner silence meditation. Look up the Three Swings exercise if you haven't heard of it before. It's a great way to promote a gentle increase in energy. :)
If you're dealing with an exhausting work situation, that can be really tough to resolve. Is that what you're going through now?
Yeah I do yoga. I always was interested in chi gong though. I'll definitely look up that exercise and try it though. Yeah it's all work and responsibility stuff. I think forcing silence has helped though. I'm trying to bring it more into daily life. I think limiting the phone usage would help alot too. Were overstimulated these day I think. Thank you so much for the response! I think the tensegrity movements help too although with things like that it's hard to know if you're doing them correctly without a teacher.
