Fancy is teaching me. I'm just not sure what exactly she means.
Possibly, the dreaming double merges with them, and so it can ride around on busses the way don Juan said.
Or, don Juan was just trying to make Carlos paranoid, so fear could move his assemblage point. And only a sorcerer would perceive them in that "real" form.
I guess we'll get to find out eventually. It would be so cool if we could make fairy completely "real".

It would be very cool!
You have just made me remember I saw the tennis ball-size smoke!
I was going from my bedroom to the darkroom and it was in front of me, without expecting it at all.
I guess that's what you mean when you say you see Fancy following you, and before I was just seeing like puffs.
Keep me updated about that, although Fairy is already scary as a ghost.

She's called, "Little Smoke" for a reason.
Don Juan just wouldn't say what it was.
But I saw her do the puff of smoke trick up close, on multiple occasions.
I believe if you gaze closely, you'll find a few brighter lines of light emanating from the middle.
I got the impression they were yellow, but in fact the whole thing was a very bright white.
Fancy has a spot of dark smoke that falls like a mosquito landing on something.
Unless she's imitating a gnat.

It might in fact end up there. Be careful what you suggest.
I'm already worried who might play me and Cholita, the same way Carlos worried who would play him, if Hollywood got their hands on the rights to his books.
He wanted Robert Redford to play him, and thought Anthony Quinn would be a bad choice for don Juan, but perhaps it was inevitable.
Bruce has the rights.
I say, sell them to Disney!
They could play up the transgendered thing. IOBs switch sexes at will.
Anyway, if Cholita gets a choice I'll be played by some very fat old man, and Juan will be her lover.

“Well the Nagual kept right saying that all I had to do was to send my unbending intent to the scared feeding arts of old seers located somewhere in the dome of the Naguals and next week they say my intent in the second attention and all my dreaming body’s would come true. So I did. And next I got an Allie ... well you know what kind of eyes she got

Nice!
I found another one in the Silent Knowledge publication, in wich Don Juan said that learning "dreaming" is mostly an enormous effort on the part of the apprentice to get in touch with the force of the Intent.
Then the dreaming happens almost naturally.
In our case must be the amount of hours we spend in the room forcing silence.
I can't imagine someone trying to conect with "the outside" without finding an ally!

I didn't know it, although I used to hear a lot of the Stones.
Dan linked it in a comment in honor to Fairy, so that's her song now!

I never thought of it as a song for I.B. but it fits.

I admit I was trying the dance, but couldn't help kissing Fairy once I saw her full size.
No kidding, I had her in front of me with as many details as in the drawing.
It was as stable as any zombie you have kissed!
I relived the disco nights that covid stole me.
So the bliss is not the only benefit of J curving!
