I am studying Illustration, and today in class we were asked to do a book cover for a book we like. Without thinking about it I picked the art of dreaming. I just started drawing, without planning anything, just going with the flow. This is how it turned out, I thought that maybe someone would like to see it.

I've done that.
Except I was awake. And inside an ice cave on a frozen moon.
If there had been blood, I would have left as fast as possible.
🤘!
It's more apt than this official
re-print cover
The only relevance I can see is a lame attempt to depict the transitional dune world that Eligio could freely cross. Was that in The Art of Dreaming though?
Nah I think that was in a different book
Then the publisher's choice of cover makes even less sense 👎
Ha, my wife was telling me a few days ago about an experience she had that night during her practice. She said that she found herself in a cave like place of infinite volume, warm and cozy. She said it was her womb, that she had found her "seat". She had an urge to rub her face on the walls(?). She wasnt there long, but says it felt like an eternity. Anyways, it left a strong imprint and lots of excitment, which of course I'm excited for her as well.
It's beautiful, I really like it! Great work!
