I am a man who is almost done with the last books of Carlos. I am sometimes amazed how the things he mentions in the book can be seen in our daily experiences.

That's another possibility, requireing someone to make an introductory post in order to evaluate if they are unstable or have any of the bad player red flags.

If that can actually be programmed into an automod, or the community rules and settings, I really don't know.

But some people are shy! And they're the ones you have to watch out for, in a good way 🤫

I was just about to ask whether it was appropriate to make an introduction post, and if so, what that might look like.

I came to this community originally on another account that has a stalker watching it. That account has years of posts, this one has nothing. I privately messaged someone here, who advised me that my past story really meant nothing when it came to trying to use these practices.

If that's the case, why introduce myself? I would just be talking about an irrelevant story, right?

As it's currently set-up once you get 4 comment up-votes and an account age of 65 days you can make a post.

I don't think individual introduction posts will or should catch on in here, too self-reflective.

Your story would come out in the accounts of your experiences, and practice, over time. It's better that way.

I don't know which books to read. I've lived a magical life. I detect authenticity in the posts I've read here. I appreciate the perspective.

Someone who just got back from vacation with a lot more Casteaneda and Anaya books than I left with.

Someone who knows magic is real.

After reading Castaneda, confusion about why we are here and what's going on with regards to unexplained and paranormal events, all evaporates and is replaced with clarity.

Outside of his books, on these esoteric topics, I've never found anything but confusion and intentional complication and concealment.

A being stranded in a society so out of whack and bloated with grotesque and destructive priorities, that they're willing to do whatever it takes to be whole and magical again.

I am a practitoner of the works of Carlos since the early 80's till I lost my way in the mountains of doubt trying to learn what a master of intent was. I re-began my path with lucid dreaming and astral projection then found Patanjali yoga sutras then tibetan buddhism until I had success with dzogchen meditations which entails stopping the internal dialog and having one of the most intensely real experiences in another world/time of my life. I am currently working the darkroom now with some success and it is astounding! I wish I could have found this type of information long, long ago! I can only express my sincere gratitude and thanks to this subreddit that I for some reason can't even quite remember how I found as I had only lightly explored reddit years ago until now.
