They do believe we're in the worst age of the world, the Kali Yuga, maybe that idea provides an excuse to be terrible.

When religion and politics cohabitate, it never ends well.

And they liken Kali Yuga to mud.

Hindiusm = Istar religion slowly moving north into Iran, changing the names and sexes of their gods along the way, then colliding with the very old Dravidians in India, as Iran invaded there.

At least that's what I recall after so many years. I studied that as part of Carlos asking us to "really" read the bible.

By the time the Hindus made it to India, where they smear cow dung on their home's walls and floor, the Jewish prophets already knew about germs, sterilization, washing things, managing the sewage of huge crowds to prevent that type of illness, and quarantines.

It was pretty remarkable knowledge at the time.

IOBs perhaps.

Interestingly enough there is evidence that an Proto Indian culture in the Indus Valley had civilization and yoga developed 10000 years ago and Hinduism evolved from them. Additionally, the Mahabharata discusses incredible feats from a civilization dating back 100,000 years. Perhaps they were involved in similar practices, but it has all been lost to the sands of time.

I don't think the people who created Vimanas thousands of years ago were rubbing cow crap on themselves 💩

And then there's the persistence of their caste system.

Shows how far things can degenerate over time, in the absence of aggressive accountability.

Don Juan and Carlos both believed that, to some extent.

I suppose an anthropologist who took it seriously might be able to trace all the different systems back to some kind of "proto source".

Like detecting a proto language that must have come before a specific group of languages, even if you have no samples of it.

But in my opinion it's hopeless to try to discover this, because profit motive has destroyed Hinduism at it's core.

Along with everything else.

My belief is, it's all 100% fake out there. All of it.

Otherwise, where's a web page with actual teaching and learning going on?

Of course, there's real zen masters, and real yogis doing cool stuff.

But they never manage to teach anyone the cool stuff.

Which means to me, they don't understand it at all.

Should be easy to teach either of those very well, and much faster than their leaders do.
