That's Susan Sarandon reading A Separate Reality, in case you can't make it out.

That decade, 1998-2008, was just 10 out of the 53 year history of the books. A blip.

Dozens of works of classic literature have been attacked by people with agendas, and then praised again, as political climates ebb and flow.

What's old becomes new again ♾️

The books are a tool. And like any tool it can be used well, or badly. And culture has to figure out the balance. Nagualist culture in our case, as we're the ones that are most involved in it.

This is lifted (and adapted) from an excellent recent interview with Michael Pollan, author of "How to Change Your Mind:
What the New Science of Psychedelics Teaches Us About Consciousness, Dying, Addiction, Depression, and Transcendence" & now "This Is Your Mind on Plants:"

https://podtail.com/en/podcast/the-joe-rogan-experience/-1678-michael-pollan/

It's about, in part, the current state of psychedelic plant research, and how academia and legislation is moving on from the horrendous legacy of the War on Drugs. A 21st century equivalent of the 1960's-1970's will likely play out over the next few decades.

We are definitely on the cusp of the 3rd psychedelic revolution, and no doubt it will bring a resurgence in exploring any altered states of consciousness and magic.
This group seems like perfect timing to get some real stuff back out there, before a deluge of interest.

Check out this monstrosity of a book:https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1937012023124575&set=a.1585701564922291

In some ways, it's like an "enemy" to that book you pictured.

Lily led me to it in a roundabout fashion. If they put an idea in your head, you sort of have intent on your side to investigate it.

I never saw anything so obviously horrible. Hopefully it's a satire book.

While looking at that, the book next to it was from a "teacher" who "studied with Miguel".

So the plague of fake sorcery is spreading, generation to generation.

The false stuff is now "franchising". That's how Buddhism got created. By franchising.

Redeployed vs IOB energy (family&friends vs VC/PE money) -
Rockets have stages as different fuel needed at different altitudes: plenty of oxygen at the bottom, so tons of "redeployed" energy is good for first stage, then need iob energy as further stages of flight.

Awareness as "lens" focusing emanations, or oscillator tuning AP to specific emanation bundles:
(Quote from Art of Dreaming)

"Don Juan stated that, seeing that millions of conscious energy filaments pass through the
assemblage point, the old sorcerers postulated that in passing through it they come together,
amassed by the glow that surrounds it. After seeing that the glow is extremely dim in people who
have been rendered unconscious or are about to die, and that it is totally absent from coipses, they
were convinced that this glow is awareness."

There is this idea in EM that you need to transmit to receive, and an antenna small self-oscillation at tuned frequency is what makes it possible for it to receive, increasing (if allowed to oscillate with receivingsignal) specific tuning with more received.

AP OUTSIDE the cocoon:
(same chapter Art of Dreaming)

"Don Juan explained that the old sorcerers were capable of distinguishing two types of assemblage point displacement. One was a displacement to any position on the surface or in the interior of the luminous ball; this displacement they called a shift of the assemblage point. The other was a displacement to a position outside the luminous ball; they called this displacement a movement of the assemblage point. They found out that the difference between a shift and a movement was the nature of the perception each allows.

Since the shifts of the assemblage point are displacements within the luminous ball, the worlds engendered by them, no matter how bizarre or wondrous or unbelievable they might be, are still
worlds within the human domain. The human domain is the energy filaments that pass through the entire luminous ball. By contrast, movements of the assemblage point, since they are displacements to positions outside the luminous ball, engage filaments of energy that are beyond the human realm. Perceiving such filaments engenders worlds that are beyond comprehension, inconceivable worlds with no trace of human antecedents in them. "

How to stretch like that?

I believe, just look way up, while completely silent in a dark room.

When you see something, keep watching it.

I believe (but can't yet prove it), that's all there is to stretching the cocoon, and causing a "movement".

If you see yellow lights, you're on the right track.

Gift to Maui pass might be related to that.
