At some point in your darkroom development, you'll be able to "see energy" continuously.
You won't be squinting and asking yourself, "Am I seeing energy? Can I post it on Facebook??? Will they believe me? Now what exactly did Carlos say it should look like?"
It'll be right there! Everywhere.
And as long as you can keep your assemblage point in the deep orange zone, it remains.
Mostly it looks like lines made of dull whitish light strewn about everywhere.
I'd say, the lines are further on than the whitish light on surfaces. You'll see that first.
But the stand alone lines are pretty cool! And will show up eventually.
They're what seems to be individual fibers mostly.
But if you gaze closely to see what color it really is, or whether a single line is really just one emanation, it begins to take form.
The emanations don't seem to like to stand alone. They like to combine with other emanations, and "turn into something".
So, what you see at advanced stages, blows away either of those videos.
Minus getting burned or having to run from a weird ghost beast.
Maybe not as cool as the ghostbuster vehicle though.
It's a pity Don Genaro didn't have one of those.

Got me thinking about the Greek stories of the sisters of fate and how they could manipulate the threads of fate. What if those threads of fate were actually the emanations.

You can. I was doing that last night, for a different purpose.
I got curious of whether if you saw one, you could trace it with your finger, in the air.
I couldn't. But I got closer than expected.
The thing is, those are seen with the dreaming bodies eyes. The double.
We don't have "triangulation" information on them, so when you reach your hand out to trace their path, it's sort of like trying to cut your own hair on the back of your head, using a mirror.
You can't move your scissors the right direction because the location of the eyes is reversed.
If you have only one "eye", and it's not even located where your head is, it's even harder.
If you get the lines to remain fixed in the air, try looking up to the right, at a tilted angle. Not quite 45 degrees. Just something slightly "skewed".
Look between the emanations...

I tried tracing them sitting on the bed and my hand basically got led in circles. I'll see if I can traces them while walking around and see what it leads to.
I forgot the about the whole Socrates daimon thing.
I've always liked the term daemons which represent intermediate states or liminality.
So awake/asleep (hypnagogia), solar and lunar eclipse etc...

Cholita and I once traced one for 200 feet at the beach. It let to some people smoking pot near a little park on the sand. They were hiding behind a block wall and playing shamanic drums.
Naturally, Cholita gave them a hard time. Instead of thinking, "That's so cool!", she thought it was an aggressive move.

There was only one. If we'd seen what happened when they snuck over to the block wall to get high (it was dark), we might have had a clue why that was there.
Maybe someone stumbled there. Maybe one of the men kissed one of the women.
No way to tell but someone left a tiny bit of emotion there.
Cholita's dark energy is likely what made it easy to perceive.
The reason to recapitulate is to retrieve those lost "fibers".

"Mashing energy" stirs those up.
At extremely crowded places, such as the subway walkway under the street leading to the forbidden city, you can literally feel them with your hand if you reach down 1 inch above the walkway.

I suspect it was planned by intent.
One thing I'm certain of now, YOU CANNOT TEACH INDIVIDUALS.
Carlos couldn't.
All failed.
I tried. It's impossible.
Don Juan didn't do that at all! He had a whole lineage behind him. They pretty much "tricked" people into learning, despite themselves.
The only way we can succeed, is with lots and lots of people who see the chance, and once in a while one does it for real.
The truly disillusioned ones perhaps. Where the glitter of the false promises of the social order has worn off.
But certainly the internet is what makes it possible.
Unfortunately, pretty soon the noise will come along.
The angry men out there with their pretend sorcery empires, will start to teach darkroom as if they could actually do any of it.
They only need to get asked a few times, before they add that to their menu.
I'm not sure what result that will produce.
It's a lot of work keeping this place honest.
