I just spent and hour staring into the void, i got some nice colors, i saw white and sky blue streaks shooting out of my body. I couldn’t silence my inner voice, i eventually just started saying “no” everytime it would start, but in 10 seconds i’m thinking out loud.

That's "normal," not being able to go more than a few seconds. But the echo (inner monologue) isn't natural, so the suffering/anxiety it causes should never be considered innate.
You're NO! method is fundamentally working at calling Intent, but like all of this it takes more effort and time than we consider is warranted, especially in this age of instant gratification.
Yeah, i can sometimes get consistent streaks of silence if i try really hard, nothing more than 2 minutes and i’m hearing music again.
This methode works. The key is to practice it for at least 1 hour a day, better up to 3 hours. I believe having just one thought every ten seconds should shift the assemblage point too if you practice for over 60 minutes.
Sshhhh...
Don't tell anyone that. Even if it's true.
We want to be like Master Pai Mei from Kill Bill.
Uma is hauling those buckets of water up the stairs for days, before she notices there's a little rope tied to a platform, you can put the buckets on the platform, and lift them with the rope.
When she confronts Pai Mei, he just strokes his white beard and does the Hong Kong dubbed kung fu movie scornful laugh.
But it does help if the "accident" words have very low ME content.
The ME fantasies are the big issue. They move the awareness beam back to the middle of our toes.
If you can get rid of all ME thoughts, it can move around down there, find some "weirdness", and that helps the assemblage point itself move.
Okay, when i do my stare tonight, i’ll try for 2:30 compared to my usual 2 hours.
Okay, i know the assemblage point is like your energy lay line in your body, but moving it heightens my awareness?
Try something new Lily recently showed me.
Of course, you need to force all words out.
But in the meantime, before you have a little more strength doing that, just get rid of the "me" content thoughts.
The fantasies that involve you, in relation to other things.
Those hold your assemblage point at the bottom. Go back a few posts and look at the man who seems to be pissing on the floor.
Any thought with a "ME" content requires the assemblage point to move to that yellow circle.
So for isntance, you at the beach looking at the sunset with your friend, is "ME" content.
You arguing later in the car, over whether you should have stayed longer, is even more "ME" content.
You going back to the beach the next week, sad because your friend won't come anymore, is "ME" content.
But you there 2 years later, looking for sea shells, is very small ME content.
You looking at seaweed clumps on the sand is not ME content.
You're focusing on other things, and the assemblage point will eventually move to more things in your range.
If you keep that up, removing all ME concepts, you'll slide along (awareness beam) until you're in "weirdness" territory.
You'll blank out, come to, and drop your assemblage point down a few inches.
It also seems to make it easier to silence the internal dialogue, if you toss him a bone.
He can still think a few words, but not ME words.
For those who can already force out thoughts, don't do this until you can get fully into the orange zone, as evidenced by the breath change, and being able to scoop little dreams out of the air.
It's very disruptive to change your silence method. I suspect there's an "intent disruption" when you do that.
alright, i don’t have fantasies, i just get constant music in my head and then i tell myself to shut up. I argue with music in my head.
Oh, I definitely second that affliction. ✅ I'd say more than half of people get stuck at the earworm stage.
In case the OP of this post peeks in, I hope you didn't jump to any incorrect conclusions when the automod system deleted your comments because your account is brand new. It was all automatic. No need to delete your account!
But I'll add a rule to the sidebar to make this more clear.
ok
I do something similar, but instead of saying no I say silence(in my head). If I’m in a place where I can be loud, I’ll ask for intent to help silence my thoughts out loud.
I’m also practicing this when I’m out and about doing errands and other stuff. While driving is a great time to practice for me.
Being aware of the empty space between stuff seems to help me out for some reason.
I figure it’ll get better with consistency and determination.
Stay strong !
