Those last two sentences are why we're so active in here. That "fact" has permeated for far too long into popular culture, unchallenged. It never should have been so, and those who were tasked with the responsibility of upholding Castaneda's reputation didn't do the best of jobs.

From the perspective of the men of the world, at least.

His work was too threatening to the military industrial, agricultural domination that runs our world. It could have only gone that way. If we can protect him and by proxy his knowledge, in my opinion we can protect and reestablish ourselves.

reminds me of that military experiment when they gave that group of soldiers lsd and were disappointed to observe they didnt follow blind commands anymore and started climbing trees instead and then they made it illegal and said it would make you go crazy or kill yourself or whatever

Lmao right they made it in the hopes of creating a mind control drug and in fact did the opposite, hilarious.

Carlos' job was to spread the teachings in a form the general population could absorb, and that meant having as wide an audience as possible.

And that wouldn't happen if he didn't actually sell any books.

Remember even after he was independently wealthy, he still took jobs frying eggs as a short order cook in a diner, and drove an old frumpy car.

Juan Leiva is of course right!

But I wonder if someone pointed him here, wouldn't his head explode?

He'd be doing pretty much what he's accusing this man of doing.

I wish someone would try it! Find who he is, and point him to this post.

Then watch his head explode.

Remember, his complaint was that Carlos was a lying faker.

But if you come here, it's becomes very obvious he was not.

So he should change his opinion.

When his head explodes, the truth will come out.

He's got his own fake sorcery thing going.

i don't understand what they get out of just plainly saying what a fake he is, even if you dont "believe" in actual magic, of course it doesnt matter if u do, theres still useful knowledge in the book that you have to admit just makes sense, they say ohhh he was a fake! a fake what? he wasnt even trying to do anything or be a guru like that otherwise hed had have dozens of tv interviews and the like, its obvious he didnt really care for fame, i never even heard of him before i accidentally found a reference to one of his books from another author.

Stick around and read as much as you can, and you'll realize all "systems" that imply magic, are like that.

Taken over by bad men, who don't care about actual magic.

They only care who's "in charge".

We actually have men come here for the first time and ask me,

"Who put you in charge???"

Instead of "Holy Shit!!! Are you kidding me?"

They ignore all the pictures of real magic, and want to know who's the leader and why.

One claimed I had no right to be the leader because my inorganic being (given to me by Carlos) appeared in a white see through Sailor Suit.

The kind the Japanese love.

Just thinking about it, is likely to make me browse to xhamster and type, "Japanese Sailor Suit".

Except it turns out, our workplace internet is "protected" by Time Warner.

Oh well... I'll ask "Lily" to show me tonight. She's 2 inorganic beings later than Fairy.

This guy didn't think that was dignified enough for a being with no organic body.

I don't know about dignified.

But I couldn't help find out if she had all the "parts".

Yep...

And no unnecessary hair, if you get my drift.

I must have gotten my eyes just 2 inches away from her, all over the place.

On another occasion she was only 4 inches tall. I like her to pretend to be a real fairy.

I was remembering an earlier time when she turned around and bowed for me, as if to show off her white dress.

It gave me goosebumps, she was so real.

The instant I thought that she turned to face me, standing on my hand, and lifted up her dress to show me, she had no underwear.

All this would worry me, except for the books of Carlos.

He's told us everything!

Makes the guys who claim he was faking it, look like total fools.

Because you can "discover" something yoruself, and then later you find it in one of the books.

Either one you hadn't read, or one you read so long ago, you didn't remember that point.

In one place don Juan says, "A sorcerer can make his allies look like anything he wants".

And in another, "The old seers really loved their allies."

I bet they did...

so could "fairy" manifest itself to be be oscar in a garbage can from sesame street floating around in your phantom room? like its not actually a fairy or a female its just an energetic entity that takes on the part of what you see to make it easier for you or its just what happens when the iob interacts with your energy configuration?

u/danl999 2 points 2021-09-07 22:06

Absolutely!

Don't give them any ideas...

I suppose we don't really know what they are.

The general thinking is that they look like whatever you expect.

But that's not quite right. They have some choice in the matter.

And yet, they will obey every command if they can.

Some just take so long, you forget.

But others can happen nearly instantly.

And they're quite "literal".

IOBs feed off our feelings. The old seers were supposed to be able to control them quite well, by generating the feelings they like.

Julian was said to have enslaved them with his feelings.

So naturally you'll want to figure out how to do that.

But it won't work! You'll try telling them, "I love you so much", and it won't work.

Reason?

You don't.

The feelings have to be "genuine".

I don't know how you fake genuine. Haven't figured it out.

But they respond to requests, so there's really no reason to try to force them.

One time I was trying to figure out how to generate the "emotions" Fairy liked.

I hadn't yet figured out, they have to be real.

I told fairy, who had been teaching me darkroom techniques, "Oh Fairy! You're so wonderful! Can't we be closer?"

Fairy vanished.

I figured, I messed that one up.

10 seconds later I found myself on the other end of the south wall of my darkroom.

Behind the solid wall!

I looked back to see how that could be possible, and what does the "inside" of a solid wall look like anyway?

It wasn't my bedroom wall anymore. It was a view of Fairy's cave. As if Fairy's cave view was a transparent computer monitor, and I was simply inside the monitor, able to see that the glass had a reflection of the very place I was standing in. And if I just walked to the other side, my room was still there.

I NEVER go into Fairy's world!

Too afraid of being trapped. Too many beings in there.

I started to panic, but realized I was only 3 feet in there. Easy to step back through the wall, and into the safety of my dark room.

Fairy had taken me there without permission, sort of.

They seem to be under strict rules requiring "permission".

But she modified the rule to say, as long as I could undo it, it was ok. Since I'd asked...

I glanced to the left, inside her world, and there was Fairy.

In her natural state.

She was inside what looked to be a barnacle made out of dirt, peeking up at me.

She had brought us "closer", just as I had asked her.

In 10 seconds!

But I'm sure for a new guy, my stories worry you a bit.

Good thing we have dozens in here who can do at least a little magic!

And it's all consistent and works the way Carlos told us it works.

We even discover "new" things, and then find an obscure publication or set of notes on a lecture, with that very thing in them.

Which is why I'm here. I was on my own for decades, and finally decided it was a horrible loss to the world, if things kept going as they were.

With Cleargreen unable to convince anyone it was real.

Or not wanting to...

I gave them 20 years before I gave up on them.

ego is a problem and when atomic fails here comes collective.. let's make a tribe so we can be in charge . making alot of people think of you is energy it says in the books that keep your awareness in death alive much longer than usual and propbly could be an unconscious gnowldge all these people have and do all these things even the bad guys in history are remembered .. I could be mistaken and also all those things ar not realy important .

We were invaded by 3 people who thought so, this week.

Believed sorcery was bullying others until you defeat them.

No interest in magic at all, it was 100% what you might call "ego".

But I don't like that term. It gets confused with being aggressive.

And it has nothing to do with that, in it's purist form.

It's just about whether you believe your socialization is the real "you", or whether you've gone past that, and your socialization is more like a coat you have to put on, to go to the "stuffy" restaurants.

u/Odysx2 1 points 2021-09-08 15:36

you are right. I dont know how to express to be very precise . what I realised is that EGO is every thinking ,every bit of talking , every believe and ideology , religion has to do about prevailing and others even with no gain at any level.
