I've been wishing this sequel wasn't happening- as I do with most sequels.
But this trailer got me excited!

I'm afraid, just claiming of having the only red pill won't do any good. Pretenders also do that.

We've gotten so good at turning imaginary worlds into hyper-real facsimiles, that people often find them more alluring than actual reality.
That's at least part of the whole blue pill thing.
And it seems to have actually increased the necessary signal threshold to break-through, and convince people of the imperative to change.
Absent of a super powerful and highly mobile sorcerer that can fill the role of a Morpheus type character, by going around and shifting people into altered states, we have no means of super-efficiently eliminating doubt.
Other than entheogens, which can potentially open-up a whole host of other problems.
Also, adults usually can't even perceive an IOB, so "sending one in the mail" isn't foolproof; and people are readily practiced at dismissing events with a paranormal flavor. Or if not dismissing, at least of habitually refusing to actually allow such knowledge to change their behavior or outlook.
