Even knowing what we learn from the books that are the focus of this subreddit, we still can't shed the biases and opinions that we've grown up with without a lot of unlearning (stalking ourselves).
So the very motivation to make such a documentary kind of ensures confirmation bias, not just on the demon 👹 interpretation, but also on the angelic 👼 front.
It's just another polarity, bouncing between two items of the Tonal.
But you're not likely to ever get an unbiased and completely scientific-method based documentary on the topic of spirits, so disregard all I wrote and consider the documentary pure entertainment.
The people who filmed and produced it almost certainly haven't had enough conscious regular first-hand and personal experience with IOB's, so they simply didn't have enough to base an accurate presentation on.
And they are also probably lacking the fine-grained knowledge of how fundamentally intertwined consciousness/awareness is in such experiences.
If they had, they would have realized that demon, angel etc. are laughably juvenile terms.
