This question is relevant to me because a great deal of the time I expect I'll be doing my darkroom gazing in the vicinity of other people in close enough proximity to hear me speak. When you communicate with IOBs do you actually speak out loud with your voice or is it silent mental communication?
As an aside, has anyone here eaten or drunk anything that had its origins in these other realms of perception?

Mental communication. I've eaten things from the second attention before, most of which was quite good. A few months ago an IOB gave me a bowl of egg noodles and fruit salad. It did not taste very good.
I ate 'ayahuasca brownies' in a dream before. It actually shifted my assemblage point pretty far, just like a real 'trip'.
Silent mental communication they can hear. Perhaps physical word if they are a high level IOB or in your body.
But if you actually "speak" in the Second Attention AS the energy body- not just project a verbal thought but actually use the dream air and dream lungs and dream mouth of the energy body to create dream sound- that's where real power of command comes into play. You can pull off some 'Moses parts the Red Sea" type feats in the physical world if you can vocalize commands in the second attention in such a fashion.
It's your choice, but I've found speaking out loud to them gets more facial expressions from them.
What they want is genuine emotion. But no one's figured out how to generate that, the way Julian did.
As long as you can visually see one, you'll figure it out.
You can stick your hand into them and push and pull on them, blowing out when you push them out, and inhaling with you move them closer.
That works as well as speaking to them out loud, but you tend to get weird expressions on their faces, instead of a more human response.
