One has of life of nearly endless magic, hunting and gathering in the wilderness.

The others literally move shit around all day. Be it chicken shit, human shit, or shit for the crops. Rinse and repeat.

So why then do most of us still fall for the later after all these thousands of years? Even in a world burdened with overpopulation.

Is most of society really a slave to either the agricultural crops, or to psychedelics in the woods? With only a tiny percentage capable of traversing outside those, or a few other, archetypical constraints?

I believe the only practical and viable approach for a sorcerer in the 21st century is to be solidly in the middle of both of those lifestyles. Whatever that might look like.

To be non-binary, as the kids say.

Since a hobo roaming around the hillsides is not going to be able to stay out of jail, most likely. Even if he's done nothing wrong. Not with the proliferation of private land ownership.

There's too many people now to return to our natural behavior.

But, it's giving rise to technology!

I'm afraid, technology kicks sorcery butt in the long run.

You can literally live until the universe is too cold to do anything. And maybe even switch universes at some point.

Assuming mankind can survive 100,000 more years and keep learning science.

In the meantime, we have to trust inorganic beings for an alternate plan to the agricultural myth.
