I hope it's not the fake don Juan's people... They've been active lately.
If they could just get their old leader in some movie, their profits would skyrocket.
Even if they couldn't actually sell the movie to audiences due to copyright issues.

Since it’s listed on IMDb, it has to be a commercial venture… or at least abide by copyright law.
The only reason the people who produced “The Spot” documentary could make their project was their designation as a nonprofit, and thus being prohibited from selling the result.

My brother makes "indies" too.
His best was "Jackson".
But "Pizza Man" (1991) made Bill Maher more famous than he was at the time.
I'd say, $1M for the crummiest attempt at making an indie.
Bruce must have a backer.

Maybe because it's already written in the original book, it'll come out as accurately as the cartoon has.
It's the later books that need someone with experience, to make sense of them.
By the way, the copyright doesn't run out until 2068.
Except businesses like Disney seem to find ways to make copyrights last forever.
