A Story From The Caretaker

The caretaker of the vast transportation complex. Not from Emilito (too bad).

I got the story after I managed to rip the red zone purple puffs in half, splitting the entire room down the middle, so that any purple puff had an "echo" of itself in yellow.

I think the tonal awareness comes out to follow the purple awareness of the double, when you reach a good level of silence.

It is NOT something beginners should think about. If they do that, it means they're attention seeking.

Like, a little kid is brought to the gym by his dad, and instead of following his dad's advice on weight lifting, starting with a max of 5 pound weights, he runs to the giant bench press and wants to do the biggest size.

Failure is obviously unavoidable.

But we get that with new people. Especially those obsessed with attention seeking, coming from subreddits where lying and pretending is a given. Like the Magick subreddits.

Where make believe is the real thing.

So the story goes, a little girl had a father who was never home. He couldn't get along with her mother.

But she craved his approval.

He liked cars, and when she pointed out a car on the road she liked, he gave her lots of attention over it.

And more than anything else in the world, she wanted his admiration.

Not specifically his love. She knew he loved her, but it wasn't enough to keep him around.

She made up her mind to buy that car. The pink convertible.

Her mother humored her, telling her that anything was possible if she worked hard and had patience.

The evil neighbor boy noticed her obsession, and decided to take advantage of it.

He had her running a lemonade stand for him, and even got her to bake cookies and cup cakes to sell.

She used up her mothers ingredients for all of it, but her mother thought it was good for her to have to some clear goals and purpose.

The evil neighbor boy took full advantage of her, including stuff I won't mention.

He also kept all the money. And never paid the mother for all the lost resources.

But the little girl worked so hard, and advertised her lemonade stand all over the school, until the evil boy felt compelled to finally pay her some money.

Fortunately she was too young to understand money, so he only needed to give her $2 in change.

It went to her head. She became angry and militant to all the kids who said she'd never be able to buy that pink convertible.

She'd hold out her little hand, and shout, "See!!! I have the money now!"

And she truly believed that.

That's what the green zone does to people. It creates the feeling of wealth, but leads only to delusion and anger in the people who get there using a fake magical system.

You can't reason with them, because they hold out their little hand to show you the $2 in change they got.

I spent a solid 10 years in the green zone dipping my toes in the river of shit from cozy little embankments called ritual Magick, chaos Magick, new age spiritual madness and more.

The practices here are so simple, yet the most difficult to truly engage with and learn from because they require actual change, and constant evolution of perception.

In Yogic meditation circles, they call the green zone, "the honey pot".

I never realized that also existed in Magick, until the caretaker made me feel embarrassed for how obvious that is.

Even joggers get to taste the green line! They call it, "joggers high".

It probably happens due to muscle memory remembering the last time, and making the "high" part stronger each time you go jogging. Because your mind considers that "success", and the muscle memory is sentient and aware of all of what you do.

With "success" being part of its goal.

The tensegrity can store that information too, and train it into the muscle memory.

Eventually you can just "wave your arm" to move down to the red zone.

Eventually...

Not soon enough...

Sorry about that. Maybe with some energetic mass, we can help those who are struggling due to lack of practice time.

The difference between winning a small one-time lottery prize πŸ†(thinking you’re set for life, before reality sets in), and working a high-skill profession (sorcery) where you get the equivalent of that in spades every month.

It's also important to remember, the "tales of power" of fake magic systems NEVER evolve.

They tell the same old tale over and over again, for thousands of years.

That's not natural! If you are on the real path of magic it's an endless road, with more and more power at each stage.

If it stays the same as the original guy who created the system, and especially if the student never exceeds the master, it's a total fake.

So we can know, the Buddha was a fraud. He never evolved at all.

His students never grew beyond him. That would be "blasphemy" and subject to severe punishment.

No Dali Lama for you!!!

(Seinfeld "no soup for you" joke).

The buddha just kept sitting there like the useless Putz he was, trying to smile wisely with his eyes closed.

As if he were "all done now"!

Asians love that sort of image.

In fairness to the Hindus, they never said that was how it works. The Buddha just turned their weird Indian food into McDonald's hamburgers so it was easier to sell in franchise form.

Except I love those hamburgers...

Just can't eat them myself.

Reminds me of the people who buy those scratch tickets at 7/11 hoping to strike rich not realizing how badly the odds are stacked against them. Instead, if they commit themselves to single mindedly learning and developing a skill for the next few years they could be striking rich consistently without even buying the ticket.

I know quite a few people who went from earning minimum wage to over 200k per year in a matter of 4 years by thinking long term.

Thanks for sharing.

Were you ever close to getting into the same green zone trap?

[-]
u/danl999 4 points 2022-06-18 18:20

Before I got into private classes, yes.

The worst part about the green zone is perhaps that no one can actually keep that up.

It's not strong enough to overcome the pull of the river of shit.

You have to make it to the purple zone to "be relatively safe" from being pulled back into the river.

And thus if you look at old people who were doing "magic" in their youth, which includes all Zen masters and "enlightened" Buddhists, they lose it all in old age.

Become intolerable grumpy bastards some poor monk has to serve.

If it's a "solo" Yogi like Maharishi, their family comes along to try to take over the business. His "franchise" got split into pieces, with the Evil Chopra taking half, and his sitar player Rabi cloning himself to look just like Maharishi.

His taxi cab driving brother doesn't seem to have gotten his own piece of that hippy pie.

Same is happening to that fat bastard Miguel Ruiz.

His son is trying to take over!

Hopefully we can put a huge dent in his book sales.

What you teach...silence being the most important part does truly seem to be the most integral piece. It can be practiced at all times. The gazing work is what requires a more established 'ritual' or space set up. Even recap can be done to some degree walking around with the family.

u/Artivist 5 points 2022-06-18 20:15

I remember reading how the witches in the inner circle would recap on long bus rides they had to take on a regular basis.

Not me. Don Juan said that over and over in the books.

Everyone just ignored it.

But yes, "all day silence" is the fastest path.

It just really, really sucks.

So badly, no one would keep it up long enough for it to produce the stunning results of darkroom.

Even Juann only did that, because he had time on his hands at College, already knew what darkroom could do, and is young enough to have oodles of energy.

But anyone who tries all day silence, needs to look for "weirdness" too.

As a "measuring stick" of success.

I dig. Reminds me of the Norse Wyyrd. Fate strings flowing on your own dynamic. Unplugged from the tangled skein of Man.

They could have picked up some shamanism strain of which we are unaware.

The Islander type, since they liked to travel the oceans.

We know there's the Siberian strain. That's ours.

And my Ally Mystery said there were at least 8 total, one of them being north African.

Which obviously flowed further north into the Jews and Akkadians, and thus into India and China.

Got destroyed by greed when money came along.

But there's likely an "Islander strain" out there.

Because there was shamanism all over south east asia.

Including Australia.

The North African variety killed itself by becoming incredibly "religious" as it traveled north. Where "beliefs" overrode competence.

Maybe the Islander type escaped that fate, as did ours?

But how to see it?

Anything, such as the Australian aborigines', only comes to us via bad players.

Who alter it to make it easier to sell to outsiders.

Money ruins everything.

Huge lover of history and anthropology here, led me to Castaneda and Shamanism. I agree with your thoughts here.

That islander breed seems to have even preserved much of deep antiquities practices and knowledge through mass cataclysm.

Once these ideas became organized, and locked down into ritual and religion the decay and death of what was useful began.

Makes me wonder about those huge heads on one of the islands.

The Olmec made huge stone heads too.

Here's a long term project.

Very long term.

Restore the old strains of shamanism, one at a time.

Could likely even find some of their "old seers" hanging out in the IOB realm.

Let them body snatch someone who is good at the Olmec variety, and then teach people that form from the ground up.

Do you still need to practice silence during the day or is it the default state for you now?

[-]
u/danl999 3 points 2022-06-19 16:16

I have to remind myself, but it's very pleasurable for me to be silent, when I don't have to program computers.

Not a chore at all!

Keep in mind, Carlos had to move to the desert and take a job as a fry cook. And get a cheap apartment, where he could change his name to Joe Cordoba.

All to practice silence.

And this was after he could already get silent!

He just couldn't get it perfect all the time, so he took that step.

Could be that don Juan put him up to that. Taisha ended up pretending to be a homeless woman for a year.

Also never forget, there's "mental silence", but also physical expectations.

Think of those as the internal dialogue that got programmed into our muscle memory movements.

Where it lingers if you don't reset those "programs" in the cerebellum.

So you can learn to be silent, but when you repeat a series of movements your body has memorized, such as sliding down the metal railing on the stairs to your favorite beach, that activates your endless "Happy I'm at the beach!" internal dialogue.

It "stores" in our muscle movements.

Can't visualize it? Think back to junior high when the coach had you running laps.

In the 6th grade, you could run those with a relatively quiet mind.

By the 9th grade you might have noticed a song you couldn't get out of your head, going in beat to your running steps.

It's the start of the endless internal dialogue.

And the muscle memory for jogging seems to have "incorporated it" into the whole movement routine. Military people even use songs for specific exercise tasks, and learn when to "emphasize" a word to go with the action.

Like a stage show with singing.

But they don't have to plan that, after copying others a bit.

The muscle memory learns that part also!

The jogging "ear worm" may be because just once or twice you found it pleasant to sing that to yourself, to make the laps less horrible.

Then it got stuck in that movement!!!

Not-doings can "reset" those muscle memory subroutines, so that they will re-train.

But we can't identify all of them!

Becoming "someone else" is a chance to reset all the ones you can't count.

But you need to be silent while being "someone else".

If anyone dreads the amount of work of sorcery, don't forget that once you can do the things you see in the pictures in this subreddit, you're no longer running on a "sense of duty".

It's pure greed that motivates you to go further!

The biggest burden only comes while getting to the deep orange zone.

After that it's probably all pleasure that drives you on.

Not to say that guarantees you will succeed. That's a completely different consideration.

I'll tell the caretaker you liked it.

See what he says.

Wish I could get him to show me those Elias tensegrity forms.

There seems to be no video on youtube.

I suppose I ought to have searched the wiki first...
