A compendium of 7 books for all
Inventory Warrior
Hey, I have individual PDFs, each about 30-50pgs with detailed description of each chapter(s) and another accompanying information regarding said book.
The books are
- A Seperate Reality
-Journey To Ixtlan
-The Eagles Gift
-The Fire From Within
-The Power of Silence
-The Second Ring of Fire
-Teachings of Don Juan
Like 2 or 3 of the PDFs have mismatched page numbers, but all the information is there.

please make sure to download them all and distribute them, etc. Same goes for everyone else who wants them. As later in the day I will be deactivating the shared-link to the folder and deleting this post as well.

I just renamed each file and assigned a number in front. It's ordered chronologically on when the book(s) were released. I skipped number 4, because that was Tales of Power and I don't have that file.
I was going to include a link to those study guides with the rest of the not so useful authors in the additional resources section.
Just for completions sake.
And part of the magic of the books, or even most if it, is being drawn into the narrative.
Anything that takes you out of that and tries to reduce it down to a list, isnβt exactly beneficial.
But people do learn in different ways, and have different levels of reading comprehension.
The thing is that DropBox account is my burner account that I use to share files with anonymously and I am not a big fan of leaving things openly shared. I have a bit of OCD and I am constantly re-organizing my file folders in the cloud as more information comes in.
Even things I share with on Google Drive using my personal account with people who know me, after they download it I take them off the shared status.

EDIT: I don't think that the sparknotes are a replacement for reading the books, but they can be complimentary or supplementary.
Good afternoon!!
Now - no more indulging - get to practicing!

I trust your personal power, and thank you.
Goodbye!
Everytime I read your goodbyes, I hear it how Ezra Miller says it at the end of this
video
π
That's fucking delightful!
You go right ahead with that hearing and I'll keep trusting your personal power will bring you success in your practical magical tasks, whatever you decide those are.
Bye-bye!
So to whoever's name started with an A and the other guy who's name started with an M, I took you off the file folder, because I had erreonously shared a link for editing which requires approval from me, instead of the just viewlink (which allows anonymous download).
Wow. Thank you very much my friend :))

This looks great!!! If you could leave that link up until the end of the day so I have a chance to download it on my computer that would be excellent π
I am going to leave it up for a couple days. I am stickler for keeping my privacy and keeping my digital fingerprints low. But this time I'll leave it for a while.
If you didnβt get the books yet, there is a list with links in the side bar. Here is the page for the books:
https://www.reddit.com/r/castaneda/wiki/booklist?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
If they're study guides, maybe meant for people with literacy, memory, and focus difficulties, that's one thing.
Or just people with no patience?
But if you're not an academic, studying Castaneda's books as literature...they're poison to your chances.
Maybe those types will eventually get bored enough to implement what they read about ...
I can't speak for others, only myself. When I was in college, I was later placed in a special program where any exam I had to take for any of my classes, I was alloted 1.5x the time given for the exam. After a battery of tests at the psychiatrist office, it was determined that I had a learning disability.
I was given ADHD medication for the first time in my life at 27 after that, but now the usefulness or initial potency is now waning on me.
Possibly, I don't disagree with you. I myself have read thru parts of the study guide in relation to what I have read so far. Somethings are slightly missing, so the study guides are not a whole hearted replacement for skipping on the reading. But they can help serve as a memory jogger when you're trying to find something back in the book and can't remember who, what, where, etc.
If you want condensed description and how it all ties together, just read/listen the "Getting Castaneda" book. The author actually also met Carlos when he used to attend UCLA and does a good job of summarizing the information without editorializing.
While it looks like you put in a lot of effort and are enthusiastic about sharing with the community, it seems like re-inventing the wheel and can distract users from more reading and deliberating instead of actual practicing.
That guy is a total idiot!
It's actually harmful to read what he writes.
He was even trying to say that Carlos was feeling "nostalgic" at the end when he wrote the last 3 books.
And he "met" Carlos????
Are you serious? You have 3 private class members helping here. Hung out with him hundreds of times.
You should give it up. There's no way for you to learn sorcery.
It's been pretty obvious in nearly everything you comment.
You don't want to learn. You're on some weird trip "collecting knowledge".
Or whatever. I can't figure it out. But it's tragic.
And you have a lack of the sobriety needed to see the difference between bullshit like Peter printed in his book, and real knowledge.
Honestly.
Your chance to learn is 0.
You and Jaeger should go form your own group somewhere and be happy.
Stop harming this place.
Maybe go learn daoist "magic"?
I'll heed your advice about the book. I had only started listening to it and thought he did a good job of defending Carlos against academics who were accusing Carlos of making everything up.
I think I may have been misunderstood. I didn't want to imply "meet" as in personally learned from him. He happened to be at UCLA at the time Carlos was giving a lecture. But, that doesn't really say much considering we have you and others here who spent a considerable amount of time under his tutelage.
I try to limit my interactions here but occasionally ask questions for clarification. But, I appreciate you calling me out if I added something to muddle the intent of this subreddit.
The fool says - excellent reply, don't waste the gift!

Goodbye!
Well, good reply at least.
And I hope the people who think I talk too boldy would go and research how Carlos talked.
He called all of his private classes "Masturbators" at the end. Got nothing out of them, as the blue scout had warned him.
Told some women's classes they were something like his "last chance".
Took me aside on the stairs at Dance home and confided, "I'm dying, and no one believes me".
Workshops went so badly that Florinda and Taisha ditched us.
And Carol isn't anxious to pick up the slack. She knows we're hopeless.
Carol Tiggs has power. She used it on me. She could do the same, except she knows it's a total waste.
It was hopeless. The only reason it seems to be continuing, is because cleargreen needs money to keep preserving the tensegrity.
Which until now was thought to be pathetic imaginary movements.
Not even 1 person realized the astounding wealth of magic in there.
Certainly not Peter.
Look, Peter's book has been out decades and not a single person learned any sorcery.
In all of the Castaneda community.
Not 1!
The reputation of Carlos was in the pits, with all google search results saying he was "thoroughly debunked".
The delusional Dzogchen people were dancing on his grave, and the lucid dreaming people would spit at the mention of his name.
Didn't you notice any of that?
We're in a crisis here.
Though, maybe not so much anymore with at least a dozen in here at brown belt level magic.
Most they think it's only green, but they don't realize how close they are to Silent Knowledge.
With Peter Luce it was just mental masturbation as usual, with him pretending to be a "good guy". And an "expert" on anything psychic.
We get that in here often!
Peter is a "psychic"... That's his claim.
So that gives him "special" ability to understand the books of Carlos.
But the truth is, he'll do anything to get attention and steal money.
I've told him so on his facebook page, and he didn't even have the balls to argue about it.
But the worst is, Peter finally decided Carlos was a fake too and started to talk like Carlos was a poor old man who's scam had gotten exposed, saying his last publications were "nostalgic".
He wasn't caught up in the "blow up" Carlos engineered, so this was a continuation of his normal "expert analysis". The one he'd been profiting from for a long time.
Those last 3 books of Carlos were in fact his desperate attempt to get even ONE person to do some actual work, and cross the barrier into real magic.
And rather than "desperate", they were filled with the best dark magic he could come up with as one of his "last chances".
There's stuff in there none of us have realized.
But Peter "the psychic" only saw a dying old man who wished to relive his glory days.
That's what you're recommending people to read.
It's darned hard to get people to even try, without having an "expert" tell them Carlos was a sad old man at the end.
I don't understand why the difference between masturbation and magic isn't obvious.
I spent 3 hours wandering around my Ally Fancy's home world last night! Not 10 seconds. Hours!
Although it's hard to measure time out there...
I was fully there, just as Carlos wrote, examining the details of an alien world, fully awake, eyes open, no drugs. With a spirit teaching me wonders!
A witch found me there and didn't like what she saw and complained about it this morning.
That's what real magic is like.
Come get some!
But you actually have to work to get it!
