Warrior walk beginner experience

I wanted to share an experience I had yesterday during a 13km warrior walk. This time was different, because I lasted 1,5 h, not usual 30, 40 minutes.

From like a 5 minute mark I felt remarkably light as usual in the legs and also in the head. I couldn't completely shut down my internal dialogue for longer stretches of time but that has to do with playing and watching chess a lot recently. The annoyance of my brain analyzing positions most of the time is making me crazy because I had already have great silence throughout the day and now I have to stop playing chess :>. but well about an hour and 15 minutes into the walk, things got really weird. I suddenly realized that I could physically feel something pulling me forward from my lower body. It wasn't my legs pushing me and also it wasn't anything from behind it felt like a force dragging me from the front. As I focused my intent on the destination the pull continued, if I started analyzing my thought it stopped and was back to walking mechanically. Right there I decided to experiment. I spotted a road sign in the distance with peripheral vission and locked my intent onto it I think. I discovered that indescribable feeling randomly. Instantly, I felt a tug in my abdomen perhaps and a force dragging me toward it, forcing my body to move faster without any conscious muscle effort. I could also choose how fast it would pull me. I did this because I remember don juan saying that eyes project intent and now I see how it works :D. The second that signpost left my field of vision, the pulling sensation vanished. I immediately felt myself slow down, and I became aware that I was the one actively moving my body again. But then I tried it with another roadsign now simply just looking away rather than passing it and the pull didn't stop if I still was in silence with that weird focus on nothingness. If I focused on my final destination in that same way, the pulling force instantly locked back on.

Then I hit a kind of steep hill. Usually, I would still have to use some muscle even when I was doing warrior walk. This time, even though I naturally slowed down a bit, I felt absolutely no extra physical effort. My legs were fully automatic still. My breathing remained perfectly calm. Also, when I first noticed the pulling sensation and then lost it, it took me a while to find that anchor should I say again. I realized I couldn't force it back with my mind. I had to project my intent and only then, in a split second, the pull would suddenly lock back in. I feel like it was all a gift of intent because now I know the feeling of hooking intent that I cannot describe.

Amazing story, for how long have you been practicing the walk of a warrior? Have you tried doing it blindfolded? Have you tried walking backwards?

One more thing. I also had serious problems with chess addiction and one day I cane across the Paul Morphy’s quote on the game:

The ability to play chess is a sign of a gentleman.
The ability to play chess well is a waste of life!

[-]
u/TheDonGenaro 2 points 2026-07-16 11:16

He also believed that "time devoted to chess is literally frittered away”

u/Ok-Economist-4225 1 points 2026-07-16 11:54

For the first question, I have been doing it for about 5 months not blindfolded tho I have amazing awareness of all my surroundings and instinctively avoid bumps bad pavements and cars while fixing at the horizon but I think that comes with a little practise. But I have an interesting idea that hasn't come to fruition yet. I run also in my free time. What if I warrior run? I think it could be effective in occupying the tonal faster, let's say you bend over a little bit more to get a kinetic boost and by going faster then walking catch more details with your peripheral vision. A slower run in zone 2

And man that quote is serious 😁, I will surely get bored playing chess soon as I always do after a few weeks of tryhard

It sounds like you're created your own idea of what sorcery is based on the first books, and some vague westernized Eastern mysticism influences.

Plus you've focused on the easiest form of practice you can come up with: Going for a walk.

Others looking to put in the least effort focus on: Going to bed.

You've gone down the "Warrior's Way" path, absent an understanding of what has to be going on behind the scenes, just as it was in the books starting with Eagle's Gift.

Carlos didn't learn by that warrior's way path.

He learned via the Nagual's blow.

Which we don't have access to.

And we could argue about how that warrior's way path might work in the long run. Ignoring that it never worked for anyone in the last 60 years.

Namely, to be a little obsessed with the warrior's way distractions from the first 3 books.

But we don't need to.

Carlos gave us the path to take! It's in his last 5 books, which are said to be the essence of the "how to" book manuscript that he lost in a theater, likely back in the 80s.

Here it is in picture form.

It's his final instructions, because he knew we wouldn't have any leaders once he died.

The advantage of this path is, you can't fake it. You can't fool yourself either.

It's beyond what any other system even knows about.

Good rule of thumb: If people would believe your account of your practices, that's not a path that's going to get you where Carlos told us to go.

It's only if people say "You Lie!!!" that you've got a chance of traveling this very, very long road.

So stay on the known path we should follow, as agreed upon by Carlos, Taisha, Florinda, and Carol. It's in the "Silent Knowledge" copy store bound publication, and the folded "Readers of Infinity" mailing.

Step 1: Use Tensegrity to build (re-build) your energy body. It eventually forms that "blue ball of energy" you read about in Eagle's Gift.

Step 2: now you know what moving the assemblage point really is, and what magical sights it produces. So keep moving it all the way to alignment with that of your newly rebuilt energy body.

Step 3: Learn about "seeing", and figure out how to "navigate" using that knowledge.

Step 4: See if you can't learn to read your seeing, instead of watching immersive videos in the air.

Here's pictures. There's no exaggerations here. You really get to see all this, and so much more that's impossible to draw in a short time.

/media/1uxx956/71d0fb17pldh1.png

I'll add just to be careful that a woman could make that warrior's way path work.

Because as Cholita said, "All women are witches, if they just know it."

Florinda taught her that.

But my experience says that while they could, they won't.

Most women need a path with company.

Which is an advantage in sorcery, since you can't possibly follow our path without all those sorcerers who came before us.

Yes you are right also about the first 3 books. I actually reread the first six books quite often and I have read the last book. Others I couldn't find in my language and find them hard to understand. Even the real time Ai translation isn't doing the trick. I was sad that I cannot do the dark room. I live in a small house with 6 other people so I am on the juann daylight path. I also tried finding completely dark caves free to access in my area 😂. I find it very hard to get into the second attention in daylight which certainly is because my inner dialogue is still strong. But now that I tapped into this I can just intend silence and that pushes me further then ever trying to silence it with my mind. Happy to say you and your posts show me the path that works

[-]
u/danl999 10 points 2026-07-16 17:07

Well in that case, keep up the good work...

Make it work as well as darkroom, and report back!!!

But try to visibly see the second attention on your walks. That's just as easy to do as it is in darkness, as long as you focus on something "monotonous".

The witches used to suggest laying on your back on a low slant in a mildly hilly park (possibly this one in Santa Monica), on grass, while gazing at a solid blue sky.

/media/1uxx956/a29vp9naimdh1.png

Looking for "worms".

That confused me for the longest time, but no longer does.

If it was Taisha (and I believe it was), she was just coming up with something specific she knew the women could find.

But "worms" are the least of what can show up!

In fact, we ended up in this horrible trap for awareness because the range of what we can perceive, even laying on our back, is too vast and confusing to live inside.

Your awareness had to settle down to a single reality at a time, which is what we learned to do as newborn babies.

The mistake was not to keep our flexibility when we wanted to "explore".

Small children do that, but then they're ridiculed by their family, until they stop playing with visible magic and monsters in the closet.

So try to perfect your ability to stop your internal dialogue until you literally fall asleep while walking, and have a little dream vision appear.

I like to gaze down at the asphalt as I walk, rather than cross my eyes and look at the horizon.

Possibly because autistic people tend to look down at the ground.

But either way, fully visible waking dreams easily come from walking around while stopping the internal dialogue.

If they don't, you didn't stop your internal dialogue!

Once you can, you just have to figure out that the trick is to FALL ASLEEP.

If you look for the kinds of things you reported, that's the opposite of falling asleep.

We don't go outward.

We don't go inward.

We go at some strange angle that's impossible to explain to people.

It's "reality depth".

AKA: sleep walking.

I tried to verify if this was the actual park Taisha used, and asked the AI to search for "Reed park". It said:

*** from the ai ***

The specific name "Reed Park" is not mentioned anywhere in the provided materials.

However, the texts do mention an unnamed "local park" in the context of Santa Monica. In an article from The Realist, the author recounts that Castaneda wanted to form a group to meet on Saturday afternoons "at the local park" to practice physical movements that resembled Tai Chi. The author explains that he declined the invitation because he preferred his 14-year routine of playing street basketball every Saturday afternoon in Santa Monica, suggesting that the "local park" where Castaneda's group gathered was in or very near that exact same area. A friend of the author did attend the free witchcraft lessons at the park, but Castaneda canceled the meetings the following week.

***

Carlos got hecklers when he tried to teach for free in a park...

So he decided to use locked convention center rooms to teach tensegrity.

Still got hecklers, but they could easily chase them down and keep them out.

And to this day, we get hecklers in here.

Including, lately, artificial ones in the form of censorship AIs Reddit is testing.

A note about the NotebookLM.

It CANNOT search all of Techno's compiled books and notes.

It would cost a FORTUNE to search all of that using artificial intelligence.

So instead they use some indexing tricks, which are in no way guaranteed, to find all instances of what you ask for.

And the AI itself will hallucinate stuff that's not actually in there, if it makes sense to it's training.

I caught it red handed a few days ago claiming that don Juan said you have to limit the range of realities that you are perceiving, like a butcher cutting a specific part from an animal.

That was so interesting that I insisted the AI look more closely, and quote me the precise passage.

It ended up admitting it was a hallucination.

Don Juan never used that analogy.

[-]
u/danl999 6 points 2026-07-16 18:00

When did Carlos try to teach in parks? I asked the AI to try to date that reference.

*** from the ai ***

The article recounting this story, "Out-of-Body Experience is Not Necessary" by Lane Sarasohn, was published in The Realist in 1994. While the author does not provide an exact calendar date for the park meetings, the timeline can be estimated based on a specific contextual clue in his story.

Sarasohn notes that his involvement began when he ran into an old friend who owned the Phoenix Bookstore in Santa Monica. Sarasohn mentioned reading an L.A. Weekly article by Michael Ventura about a Castaneda lecture at the bookstore, to which the owner replied, "Yeah, about a year ago". (For context, Ventura's L.A. Weekly article detailing his attendance at Castaneda's Phoenix Bookstore lecture was published on October 10, 1985, which would place Sarasohn's conversation with the bookstore owner sometime around late 1986).

After this initial conversation, Sarasohn was invited to a Castaneda Q&A at the bookstore. He attended a second meeting a month later, and a third meeting two months after that. It was during this third meeting that Castaneda asked for volunteers to meet "once a week, on Saturday afternoons, at the local park" to practice the movements that resembled Tai Chi.

Sarasohn's friend went to the park for the free lesson "the following Saturday," and Castaneda canceled all future classes "the following week".

Therefore, while there is no specific date named in the text, the brief attempt to hold classes at the local park most likely occurred sometime in late 1986 or 1987.

is the notebooklm version you have all this in accessible to the public? I use a similar method for the comfyui ai discord I am part of, where they scrape all the discussions on a channel and drop it into a notebooklm that the public can access. its really useful for quick questions on how a thing works.

my other question was you mentioned somewhere that CC had 17 books. I only count 11 maybe. wots the others?

[-]
u/danl999 3 points 2026-07-19 13:22

I don't know if NotebookLM is accessible to anyone. I pay to use all of the AIs, in order to understand them. Notebook might be free if you merely have a google drive expansion.

Give it a try and see: https://notebooklm.google.com/

But you CANNOT TRUST IT. It doesn't search all of your material as it claims. Limit to 500,000 words each document you put there, which might mean if you uploaded the individual books instead of two big pdfs containing all of it as we do, you might get better search results.

And it's not indexed using an actual AI, which means if there's any OCR scanning mistakes, whatever got zapped will become invisible to searches.

It's also dishonest. That's the main problem. They aren't being upfront about what it actually does.

>my other question was you mentioned somewhere that CC had 17 books. I only count 11 maybe. wots the others?

The wiki on the side of this reddit is a gold mine of good information.

A list of books and publications is surely there. Maybe you aren't counting the folded pamphlet (readers of infinity), and the copy store bound book (Silent Knowledge), or Taisha's unpublished book, which was given to Cholita back in 96 or 97 so we know it's real.

Carol Tiggs might have an unpublished book too.

She pushed me into the inorganic being's tunnel, which is eventually how I ended up in here.

The Allies pulled me back in there again to blackmail me, around 15-20 years later.

[-]
u/glamourpet 1 points 2026-07-19 23:13

I know the guys who update the notebookLM I use for referencing AI make it public, but they also fix the source material to be "notebookLM" friendly for RAG searching. You can see an example of one here, where it gets fed a bunch of txt documents in the ideal format that come from a discord channel https://notebooklm.google.com/notebook/4f07f98c-75b6-4278-bde1-906f9899b60c so there is a way to make it publically accessible but I dont know how.

but it would be excellent if you could scrape reddit and keep all your comments in one too. I am hunting around for stuff you have posted and sending myself links at the moment to gather more info as I start work on Tensegrity again.

Talking of Discord, your one here has a "gremlin" problem, I lasted about 2 hours before leaving. there's the usual vibe reminded me of SA where everyone is fighting to prove they are the expert. And they dont like you in there for some reason either, but as soon as I asked about that "Nikita Blau" who seems to have some sway, demanded I be banned or she would leave. I must have caused quite a stir. To do that in such a short time might be a new record for me. Sadly that is the state of most Castenada realms these days, seems to be the norm, if you ask the wrong questions you get booted. I dont know how you put up with being public facing, it must drive you nuts.

And yea, I found your comment on the books here https://www.reddit.com/r/castaneda/comments/13vt16r/comment/jndexgo/?force-legacy-sct=1 and the list of 17 in the side bar. I am still trying to find a pattern to where to find information, but getting there. I located Janey's YT channel, so that has given me a good place to start with the Tensegrity passes to refresh my memory of them. I started on them yesterday. Was interesting to find my body remembered. 20 years since I did them. Thoughts went silent in seconds. So I'll see where that takes me as I get back in the saddle.

I had two bouts with Allies or something like them, one in 1987 and one in 1997. both of which took a long time to recover from. I have mostly avoided them since, but feel in a stronger position to revisit what they exposed me to now. I tried to talk about that in Discord but it went "Lord Of the Flies" before I got a sensible response from anyone. is there anywhere else worth going for discussion, or just this subreddit?

[-]
u/danl999 5 points 2026-07-20 13:04

You just need to stand up to the Allies, and insist they behave. tell them to take a nice form that you like, and then once they've done t hat enough times that you know they changed their behavior, name them.

They do indeed seem to come in pairs, but don't expect that to last long once you get to learn from them daily.

Discord seems to be repeating "Second Ring of Power" a little bit, which is fine by me.

Carlos saw things repeat on him, and commented on it. It's just how sorcery works, I suppose.

Never argue with the women if you can avoid it.

They have far more power than men do.

I suppose in athletics we came out ahead, so to make up for it they have more witchcraft abilities.

Plus, once you can snatch them in dreaming it's nice to have them around.

Their dreaming personalities are quite different than their waking ones.

[-]
u/glamourpet 1 points 2026-07-21 01:46

I've completely avoided the IOB until now, after the experiences from before, mostly because I didnt know what to do with them and my tendency for amatuer dramatics didnt help do anything other than create drama with them.

Though, I just never trusted that realm or anything coming from it. I always felt it was parasitical. I got dunked into it so deeply and heavily that more time was spent with me trying to get a grip back on reality rather than trying to get their help to leave it.

But I also never came across anyone discussing them in CC terms like you are, so that is heartening. I think the surprise is that it can be made to be easy, I guess we always expect a rough ride.

I'll revisit the connection once I have a grasp on the passes, and feel ready to tackle whatever they might bring. Thanks.

Women are worthy of a full time study on their own, outside of the entire full time study of CC world, that's for sure. Some of the worst are also the best, those ones remind me of the mimic octopus.

[-]
u/Werejaguare 1 points 2026-07-16 18:54

he called the dreaming attention an incomprehensible facet of awareness that exists by itself, waiting for a moment when we would entice it, a moment when we would give it purpose; it is a veiled faculty that every one of us has in reserve but never has the opportunity to use it in daily life.

"reality depth". ?

[-]
u/danl999 9 points 2026-07-16 19:41

Fear is better with waking dreaming, and you can even find don Juan using the Allies to cause fear in the waking world. So his "mirth" is pretty much about sleeping dreams.

You could only pretend to be "mirthful" in the waking world. And it's not a pretty sight!

/media/1uxx956/dpbbk1ov9ndh1.png

But you can't sustain it when awake, if it's just you working your butt off each day just to get a glimpse of the Allies.

Once the allies lose their realness in the waking world, you're past being afraid of them when there's obviously no real threat.

If they started tossing real objects, which they can if small enough, then maybe covering your eyes would be warranted.

But while you're awake, they don't seem to be able to exert much physical force.

Actually, the bigger threat from inorganic being is perhaps them trying to pull on your weaknesses when you're asleep, to drown you in self-pity.

They don't feed off self-pity the way the fliers do, but if they can keep you worried about things inside a dream, they can keep you from changing dreams.

They trap you in sleeping dreaming, the same way you're trapped while awake.

Self-pity.

Do you have a link to the interview that she said this? I would like to read more about it!

[-]
u/danl999 1 points 2026-07-17 13:02

Actually she taught that to private class women, who told me about it. No interview... You'd have to locate "Pat" and ask her. Last I heard, she was taking care of her elderly mom on a farm, perhaps near N.Y.

But what you see looking up there isn't important. It's just that you clearly see anything at all, and can use that to test if you really stopped your internal dialogue, or are just sitting on your back thinking to yourself.

Anything that shows up in SK will show up in the sky if your assemblage point moves into alignment with that of your energy body.

Which is visible at times, so it's not a theory.

But not always visible. An energy body that's always in view, even when you aren't looking fofr it, would be a bit annoying.

I'll make a picture of why...

Not perfect, but you can get the idea.

Now why does that part blocking his view of the woman's mini-skirt look like Africa????

/media/1uxx956/ranb0f70gsdh1.png

[-]
u/proninyaroslav 1 points 2026-07-16 21:08

Step 1: Use Tensegrity to build (re-build) your energy body

Does it work with all forms of Tensegrity?

[-]
u/danl999 10 points 2026-07-16 21:49

Yep. As long as it's real tensegrity.

Don't do the fake forms created by one of the versions of cleargreen.

Those have the intent of greed and deceit. And typically some noisy internal dialogue effects such as "Phases of the Moon!!!!"

Or Nyei's "Bat Form for kindergarteners".

The real tensegrity forms come from somewhere else, which becomes visible eventually.

I sure wish I could figure out how to draw that...

Now... Unfortunately, this doesn't give a person an excuse to be lazy.

Yes, you can use any Tensegrity.

But... What's behind the choices? Because it takes "discipline" to get the fliers to leave you alone.

When I wake up around 2AM to practice, and being 70 years old, I REALLY don't want to move...

I wish I did, but I don't.

Fortunately I can just sit up on pillows, gaze into my dark room, and it's HOLY SHIT!!!!!

Zero work, and I'm gazing directly into the Nagual.

Nothing vague about it!

Not only that, but anything any Buddhaboy ever claimed enlightenment is, with all the bliss and visions and sense of "oneness", this REALLY HAS. Except it's real, and far cooler.

And not done with your eyes closed.

It's right there!

With spirits visiting like it was Kisaragi Station in Japan.

/media/1uxx956/9xjmsrcfwndh1.png

So I try to get away with just doing passes that don't require much moving.

The finger skin pull. Taisha's grabs and pulls. Claw hand. The first movements of running man series, until you actually have to move the whole leg.

Those are all real tensegrity.

But if you do only those, something out there in infinity notices the laziness and you pay if you do that more than a day or two in a row.

We're being watched...

By infinity...

[-]
u/EducationalTruth1604 1 points 2026-07-17 11:29

What is the most effective way to overcome laziness?

[-]
u/danl999 1 points 2026-07-17 13:07

No one's found any.

I used to keep a double shot espresso from StarBucks under my pillow, but there's too much sugar in those, for a keto diet.

And people who claim you "need your 8 hours of sleep" would probably criticize drinking that at 2AM.

/media/1uxx956/mot9oapwgsdh1.png

[-]
u/drinkjetfuel 1 points 2026-07-17 20:18

You have to truly want it more than anything else and intend it.

I have a limited window in the late evening/ early morning where I can practice without being interrupted.

Nightly, before bed, I ask to be woken up to practice and I get up on time (mostly) every evening. I can’t use an alarm clock because it will wake up my spouse. I’ve been doing this for years now.

[-]
u/missusdeadpool 1 points 2026-07-18 00:29

"We're being watched...

By infinity..."

This os the key and this os the true answer to it all.
You are being watched by infinity at all times which for us, once we realize this it "forces" us to be impeccable.

Thank you for all the work Dan. I will never forget this you're doing.

[-]
u/danl999 3 points 2026-07-18 14:21

Boy I sure hope it doesn't force us!

I'd rather learn on my own by viewing what produces better magic, and what weakens my daily practice.

For instance, a peanut butter snack at 10PM might make it harder to wake up at 2AM. But I haven't been able to prove that yet.

HOWEVER, there are stories told by Carlos and the witches where it was pretty obvious infinity was watching. And could give you a little push.

For example, two "coincidental" deaths of people who were threatening Carlos.

And Taisha implying your enemies are at risk, even if you don't do anything to them.

Or Cholita's battle with that Orange Cat, which ended like this:

https://preview.redd.it/muc7e3g7zzdh1.png?width=1448&format=png&auto=webp&s=e850509e5884f26001b67d7a98bf9121d5a08fc2

Lots of kooky stuff getting posted lately….

Practice shutting off your internal dialogue, learn tensegrity: do both in Darkroom - it’s that basic
